Earth. A peaceful-ish planet of human life. But that's not where our story begins. We begin on a far off Moon where a crystalline tower is built. This tower is the Tower of the Keeper. The interstellar vantage point the Keeper uses to watch the Earth. For it is their duty. The Keeper watches Earth to make sure a darkness long forgotten by the natives of the planet. This duty of watching for the darkness is to make sure the only people who can defeat it are summoned, united, and given the ability to push back the darkness. These people who must be summoned are the Scions of the Elements. Who must be summoned when the darkness arises. Or all will be lost.
The Keeper rushed through the library of their tower with an ancient golden tome in hand. On the cover of this golden tome are the symbols of the elements. The elements which empower the Scions.
The Keeper ran over to a circular symbol in the center of the library. The symbol having the elemental symbols on its rim. The Keeper kneeled in the center and opened the tome to a specific page. The Keeper put their hands together and chanted.
"I call on magics foul and fair. To summon heroes of Fire, Water, Earth, and Air. To use their powers against the dark. On their mission they will embark!" The Keeper chanted.
As the chant concluded the four elemental symbols began glowing before shooting beams of colored light out of the tower and into the open space of the alien moon. Before rushing off towards Earth.
"Godspeed my spell. Please summon the Scions. They're our only hope in this situation," The Keeper said to themself as they prayed to whatever being created the universe that the Scions are gathered quickly.
