we all know that feeling,
smiling to yourself at a glance across a hallway,
stammering over your words for every "hi",
looking around the entire school,
just to run away when you see them.
⋅˚₊‧ a crush. ‧₊˚ ⋅
yet im always the one who is crushed.
when i see him smile with someone else,
arm around her shoulder,
even as he looks over at me,
and says "hi" once again,
knowing his eyes wont light up when they see me,
knowing that im only a second choice,
if that.
