Beyond Dimensions [Movie Sonic/Selfinsert]

1. Uhh... Meow?

A/N: Welcome to my Sonic story. A few things first:
Since I've seen different numbers when searching for Sonic's age, I'll just go with that he's 15 years old. I will try to stay true to Sonic's character as much as possible. And lastly... this is just a ''short'' fun/wholesome story (depends on how you like it), so please keep it cool in the comments. Thank you. And now have fun. 

~Narrator POV~

It was a normal snowy day in the big city of Ark City. Despite the snowfall, the streets were bustling with people. After all, it was getting close to the holidays. People were greeting each other, laughing together or preparing for the holidays. All except for one girl who lived on the outskirts of the city...
,,Ahh.... Come on! Do you really have to go again?'' the white-haired girl asked her best friend. ,,Sadly, yes. There's just a lot to do at work at the moment and we're all needed.'' ,,You always say that...'' the young girl mumbled quietly so that her best friend couldn't hear her. ,,But I'll try to get everything done sooner this time. So be a good girl, okay?'' the other girl smiled and patted the younger girl's head. 

,,Got it...'' 

A few hours later, when it was already dark, the white-haired girl was sitting alone in her room with a bowl of instant noodles. She didn't really feel like cooking and with the snowfall, ordering food wasn't really an option. Sighing, she drew random things. Being alone sucked. Of course, her best friend had told her to look for friends or the like, but... she wasn't exactly a social butterfly. She was also an outcast in more ways than one. Plus, the school where she could make friends was on the other side of town. Despite the highly developed world in which she lived and people could even develop abilities, powers, whatever, there was still a lack of schools. Not that she was complaining. Online school was actually pretty relaxed... But it was still lonely. 

She sighed again and leaned back. While she ate, the small TV in her room was playing quietly. With half an ear she had heard the news that the government had started researching portals to potential other worlds. ,,Seriously... Have they never seen any movies? In the movies, something bad always happened during such attempts. Either something exploded or the world was conquered by aliens.'' She'd had enough of all the stupid news and turned off the TV. ,,I should have watched YouTube...'' Without any motivation, she carried her bowl down to the kitchen. On lonely days like this, she sometimes really lacked the motivation for anything. 

,,Sometimes I wish something exciting would happen...'' she mumbled to herself. Just at that moment, a blue light shone through the glass door leading into the garden, from the forest and the power went out. ,,Okay.... Can I have the latest games console too?'' But this time nothing happened. ,,Heh... It was worth a try.'' In a situation like this, you should actually call someone... but you didn't really have the chance. She wasn't in the mood to be questioned by the police. But what she was in the mood for was to get to the bottom of the matter. If one of her wishes came true, she would definitely take advantage of it. Fortunately, she could see everything in the moonlight. She grabbed her cell phone for the flashlight, a coat and her boots. With an excitement she hadn't felt for a long time, she stepped out of the house and left the glass door ajar so that she could get back inside. She trudged through the thick snow across the garden to the fence that separated the woods from the garden. She climbed over it with ease and went into the forest. Of course, you shouldn't just go into the forest at night because of bears and so on. Or the monsters that existed in this world because everything came with a price. People have abilities? Okay, cool, here are some monsters so you can do something with your abilities. But that didn't stop the white-haired girl from her goal of finding the reason for the blue light.
