I feel my eyes getting heavier as my phone buzzes on the nightstand.

I groan softly, blinking against the screen's light as the caller ID shows :

"Tyaaaahhh"

"hey"

" sorry were you sleeping?"

"I was about to, how are you?"

what's with her hair?

"im good taehyung is here, he wants to say hi"

I look at her in confusion

"hey Tyah~~"

"hey tae" I say suspiciously

"Lauren what's with your hair?" I ask narrowing my eyes.

she blushes, fiddling with the ends of her ponytail"nothing just...a change

she blushes and glances at Teahyung, her eyes darting between us, I know her well enough to know she is hiding something

"okay Lauren tell me what's wrong"

"what?..umm..nothing is wrong its just.."

"cmon we should tell her"tae interrupt her 

"Tyah me and Lauren are officially datinggg~~~"

when I see Lauren blush and glance at Tae my heart swells.They've been dancing around each other for years, and now they're finally together!

i can't help but smile knowing how perfect they are for each other

"GUYSSSSSSSS! this is amazing! I knew it would happen someday"I laugh "you two are perfect for each other, seriously!"

ive watched them grow closer since high school ,and ive been their unofficial therapist ( I would say my first clients ever) for all the moments they didn't know how to express their feelings.

now seeing them finally admit it makes me feel like a proud friend who's been cheering from the sidelines 

"honestly, what took you two so long? "I laugh" I could've written a whole novel about your secret glances and stolen smiles over the years"

" and you Kim taehyung, please be gentle with my girl"

he pulls Lauren closer and grins mischievously"oops, sorry. she's My girl now "

I laugh and shake my head "okay okay but remember I was here first , so treat her right or you'll have me to deal with!"

Lauren rolls her eyes at both of us, but there is a smile on her face.its clear they're happy and that makes me happy too. 

i laugh along with them when Lauren asks"anyway...how's everything in Switzerland? you liking it over there?"

"Switzerland is  really beautiful.its peaceful in a way I hadn't realized I needed. the mountains, the quiet streets, even the air feels lighter here,its almost like I can breath again...but I know I can's stay here forever."
