ch 4

y/n POV:

After checking my stats after leveling up, l decided to drive down the path they were taking, but before l could do that l felt the kid l found in the destroyed village,move from the inside of my tank, and they were trying to open the commanders hatch but weren't able to do so,so l opened it for them,but not before quickly driving  into a non damaged part of the forest and into thick trees, leaves,and bushes,to make sure the kid doesn't get traumatized by seeing the absolute massacre that had happened to the solders that were going down the path. But I made sure to still be near the path so l would not lose it and get lost trying to find it again.

As they got out and stood on the seat, they peeked their eyes above the hatch to where their eyes were the only thing visible, so they could see what that large sound came from that woke them up frightened and they were looking all around the place making sure no spot was left unseen by them, well except for a bunch of dead mutilated bodies that were behind many trees and bushes.

y/n:*should have known that would have woken them up. Sorry, little guy, for waking you up. heh, like you can even hear me in the first place.*

???:where am l!?

I could only watch and wait as the child looked around, looking scared and confused about where they were, and l was not even able to comfort them as l could not speak. Though l did start to roar my engine softly to try to at least try to comfort them.

Thankfully, that had seemed to work as they started to get calmer, and then they looked like they started thinking of something and looked curious and nervous, and then they asked a question.

???Hey....can you talk?

I just roared my engine to make it look like l said no, and they seemed to understand that thankfully.and after a while, they said something.

???:...umm, my name is Ted, by the way

I roared my engine softly again,acknowledging their name. After that, l decided to drive by the path, and after a few minutes of driving by the parh, l decided that by now, they should not be able to see the massacre that happened a few minutes back. heh,even though I am a nazi l don't think that a kid that doesn't even look like they are 8 years old yet should even see a mere sight of that. As l drove down the path,the kid looked sad and was crying a bit, probably about what happened to his parents.poor kid,I just roared my engine as softly as l could to hopfully try to calm him down and maybe even make him a bit a better but as l should have expected he still looked sad but it seemed like my actions worked a bit as he smiled a small smile and with his voice barley above a whisper he thanked me.

And the mood changed a bit but was still a little bit gloomy, but l continued to drive down the path as the kid was on the commanders seat,looking at the scenery awestruck and was looked to be getting better just by looking at it and l even saw him pop a small smile as he looked amazed as he saw the beautiful forest around us and saw a few cute animals as he pointed out to me with a cute smile and l just roared my engine softly acknowledging what he was pointing at as the atmosphere changed quickly from a gloomy one to happy one, which was nice seeing the kid happy instead of sad.

y/n POV:

After driving on the path for 20 minutes, we found a huge city in the distance with high walls surrounding it all around as l saw many houses inside it and saw a huge castle in the middle of it and l went to my cannon sights so l was able to see further and saw many solders but they had a darker color armor and l saw they had a different flag then the other solders that had destroyed the village l saved the kid from and they also had the same weapons such as swords,spears,and bows and a few had crossbows and they looked to be guarding the huge city as they were positioned all around the walls and seemed like they were expecting invaders as l saw them run around the walls by a other solder but they looked to be their commander as they were wearing a better quality looking armor and they had metals on their chest area.
