[ START ]

[ Karla's POV ]

It's been a while since I last seen Y/N.

We used to be childhood best friends, we played together, laughed together, and even spend a lot of time together.

We both never ever wanted to separate from each other, until.. one specific day.

[ FLASHBACK.. ]

"I'm sorry hun, but we gotta go now.." Y/N's mom said. Meanwhile, Y/N tugged on her shirt.

"B-But! Mom! What about Karla? My friend? What about my life here, in this hometown!?" Y/N said as she kept on tugging on her mom's shirt, begging her to let her stay here. Her mom sighed.

"Look, we have nowhere else to go.. It's our only choice, darling." Y/N's mom says as she had a disappointed look on her face. Even if Y/N did love her home dearly, she needed to let it go.

After a while, the two were long gone, they rode off to their destination. Karla watched all of that from her window silently in agony, her best friend was now gone. But, she knows that she'll get her back.. somehow.

[  END OF FLASHBACK ]

I sighed from the memory.

Well, I still need to get ready for school anyway.

[ Y/N'S POV ]

My mom had led me back here, in my old hometown.

I don't know why'd she made me have to go back here again, I liked the one we had already.

I pouted. I guess I'd have to try to survive in this whole 'new' school I guess.

I opened the school doors and see many students inside. Well, it wasn't that surprising since my 'old' school had more students than this one.

I walked through the halls, the people kept on whispering and whispering. I hated it.

I managed to find the principal's office, perfect!

I slowly opened the door and saw a taller lady sitting on a chair with her desk in front, I'm guessing that's the principal, right?

I walk over to the principal, she smiled at me.

"Ah! You must be the new student,  correct?" The principal said firmly, I nod.

"Oh ok, ok. I see, let me get your schedule for you.." She started to rummage through the drawers, urgently trying to find my schedule, until.. she finally found it.

"Here." She handed me my schedule, I bow and uttered a 'thank you', leaving the office with a smile.

I was casually walking as I looked at my schedule.. Seems like I have Math, Science and History. Gosh, I hate those subjects.

Then, I suddenly bumped into someone, making both of us fall down with a thump.

"Agh.. I'm so sorry! I should've looked where I was going..—" I looked at the figure in front of me.

"Y/N?" Karla says, she seemed pretty shocked to see me.

"Yup! The one and only." I winked at her, causing her to blush out of embarrassment.

"But.. Didn't you move?" Karla had mixed feelings at the moment.

"Uh.. Well, my mom got enough money and had moved back here." I say, chuckling. Karla nods in response.

"Hmm.. Alright then." She says, but then you realize something.

"Oh right! Here, let me help you up.." I stood up and held out a hand to her, in which, she gladly accepted.

"Ah.. Thanks." Karla said with a small blush on her cheeks, you smiled.

"It's no problem! Anyway, I'm gonna go to my class now, see ya." I say as I walked away, waving goodbye to her.

[ Karla's POV ]

I watched as Y/N walked away from me, I place my hand on my mouth, containing my laughter.

"... I'll make sure you'll never leave my side."
