The next day Jungkook's eyes fluttered open, the dim morning light filtering through the curtains as a sharp, throbbing pain pulsed through his entire body. He winced, his muscles aching badly , his head heavy as he shifted slightly on the bed. Every small movement sent a wave of extreme discomfort, and he sucked in his shaky breath.Blinking to clear his vision, Jungkook's eyes roamed the unfamiliar surroundings. The extreme luxurious room felt cold, the once soft sheets now suffocating. His heart raced as panic began to set in-he didn't recognize where he was.
"W-What... where am I?" he mumbled shakly to himself, his voice hoarse. A wave of fear washed over him, confusion clouding his mind. He sat up slowly, his body protesting every movement, trying to piece together what had happened.
His memories were a blur-flashes of a dark figure, the taste of wine, a wicked smirk... but it was all so foggy. He couldn't remember what had led him here, what had happened last night. His heart pounded harder as the realization settled in-he didn't know what was going on.
Clutching the sheets to his chest, Jungkook's breath quickened. His mind raced, desperate for answers, but the more he tried to remember, the more his head ached. "What happened to me...?"
Jungkook now slowly swung his legs over the side of the king size bed, his entire body trembling as he tried to stand. His knees buckled slightly, the pain and exhaustion making it hard to stay upright. He didn't know if it was from fear or sheer overwhelm, but his hands shook only uncontrollably.
His mind raced, trying to make sense of the night before that what happen, but nothing clicked. Every muscle in his body screamed in discomfort, making him feel weak and so much vulnerable. With each uncertain step, he approached the bedside table, spotting a small vase. Without thinking, he grabbed it, clutching it tightly in his hands for protection if someone try to harm him .
As Jungkook prepared to swing the vase, a strong hand shot out and caught his wrist. The known familiar voice sent a jolt of confusion through him. "Jungkook, what happened?"
Jungkook's eyes widened in disbelief as he looked up to see.... Taehyung standing before him. A mix of fear and relief flooded through him, but it was quickly overshadowed by panic again. "Why are you here?" he managed to ask, his voice trembling.
Taehyung's expression softened slightly, though a hint of concern remained. "its my home and Last night, after you went home, I went back after a while," he explained, his tone steady. "I heard some commotion outside and saw a group of extreme drunk men trying to assault someone. When I got there, they all ran off, and that's when I found you there-lost and unconscious."
Jungkook's heart raced as he processed Taehyung's words. He recalled fragments of the night but couldn't piece everything together not a single piece . "I... I don't remember anything after..." His voice trailed off, anxiety creeping in.
Taehyung took a step closer, his grip still firm on Jungkook's wrist. "It's okay. You're safe now. I just wanted to make sure you were alright." The sincerity in Taehyung's eyes made Jungkook's pulse quicken fast, but the earlier fear lingered in his mind.
"Why did you help me?" Jungkook asked, still unsure of Taehyung's true intentions.
"Because I care about you," Taehyung replied, his gaze unwavering, "and I couldn't just leave you there."
Jungkook's thoughts raced. He felt a swirl of emotions-gratitude, fear, and an inexplicable attraction that he had tried to suppress. But his body still ached, and the memories of the night before loomed over him, leaving him feeling vulnerable and confused.
Then Suddenly, an overwhelming wave of emotion crashed over Jungkook, and he start felt dirty and ashamed of what he couldn't even remember. The weight of his fears pressed down on him, and before he could think twice, he stepped forward and wrapped his arms around Taehyung, burying his face in his shoulder.
