When Grandma Fanny heard banging noises coming from next door, she put on her reading glasses, put on her coat and prepared to go out to take a look.

The moonlight outside was very beautiful. She closed the door and saw that the light was still on near Lan Ao's place. Thinking about how Lan Ao had been sitting outside for half a day today, she couldn't help but guess something.

Is this a quarrel?

Young people, newly married, what's the matter that warrants such a big fuss...

She shook her head and walked over.

It was a somewhat horrifying scene, and it frightened Grandma Fanny so much that she had nightmares for several nights. She saw a large piece of broken plate stuck in Lan Ao's back, with blood oozing out. The clothes on his back were soaked in blood and stuck to it tightly.

"Oh my god, what happened..."

The amount of bleeding was quite heavy, so Grandma Fanny didn't dare to be slow. She ran somewhere else to call for someone to get a doctor, and then rushed back to check on Lan Ao's condition.

"Hold on, where's Grena? Why don't I see her..."

Grandma Fanny turned her head and looked at the messy house. Lan Ao had lost too much blood. He blinked with difficulty and his voice was pale and weak.

"I...didn't see..."

Mother-in-law Fanny naturally didn't believe this, after all, she heard the noise, but she didn't say much. She was just surprised in her heart at Grena's cruelty.

Right in front...

Grena ran in a hurry, and was afraid that Lan Ao would catch up with her. She looked back every few steps, and even one of her shoes fell off while running. She looked so panicked, as if there was a wild beast chasing her.

The lights were still on in Henry's house. She panted, pushed open the gate, and saw the things being moved out of the door in the moonlight.

"Henry..."

She shouted, and the lights in the house went out. This was so sudden that the whole yard was plunged into darkness. Grena stood there for a while to adjust herself, then ran over and knocked on the door.

"It's me, I'm Grena..."

Hearing her voice, the door was opened from the inside, and Henry held a lamp in his hand towards her face. The light was very strong. Grena closed her eyes, and then she heard Henry's voice.

"So it's you..."

He seemed to be relieved, then picked up the lamp again.

"Why are you here?"

He turned on the light in the room again. Grena followed behind him and heard that his tone was wrong, so she quickly apologized.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know Lan'ao would be back so early today...are you okay?"

She asked carefully. Henry sneered and ignored her. He just put the lamp on the table and packed his things. Grena heard the neighing of a horse outside. She was startled and then reacted.

"You're leaving?"

"What else? Stay here and be beaten to death by Lan Ao?"

Henry's tone was very bad, which made Grena feel wronged, but she had just stabbed Lan Ao, and Henry was the only person she could rely on now.

"Then take me with you, I will go with you..."

Let’s go together?

Henry turned his head back and looked at her strangely. He ignored what Grena said and just packed his books into the box.
