Timeless Love

The history homework

Once upon a time, their lived a girl named Alice and the boy named Alden. They both were schooling and were best friends even though they were separated by classes but were connected with each other through the true,pious and sensible nerves of finding comfort around each other. They both used to help each other in every scenario whether it was related to school, study, games, music, dance or any topic of the world. They both were always there for each other but never felt 'that' kind of love in their individual hearts (This was their thought only). One day Alice's school was filled with the sense of dullness. First she got just one minute late for the school but had to take up the one hour huge lecture from her coordinator. In the class she got accused for sticking the chewing gum under the teacher's table (of course, accused because she didn't do it). She tried to explain the teacher about the whole scenario but her huge, strict and the english teacher who had recently joined the school didn't listen to her and took her to the principal (she hated Alice from the starting day). When after getting scolded by the principal she returned to the classroom and sat on the last bench of the third row near the window, a spider fell on her. She screamed very hard. Everybody laughed on her (though it was really amusing). After all the dullness she faced, her evil english teacher gave the class huge bundle of homework to do. "I want your notebooks to be on my desk by tomorrow" warned the teacher. Alice interrupted "but teacher its alot to do,we will not be able to do that by tomorrow". The teacher got furious (it was nothing to be surprised, it was in her blood to get furious on the little things) and said "Its not my issue, it's..." The bell rang (it was the time for dispersal). Alice left the school without meeting her 'Bestfrind forever'-Alden. She was extremely exhausted and frustrated. The moment, she entered her room, started crying. She sobbed and sobbed, meanwhile Alden was awfully tensed for her and dialed her number but she didn't receive it. He approached her house,greeted her aunt (Alice's parents left her at aunt's place and themselves got shifted in london because they thought in India she would be able to learn more morals). Alice heard the voice and recognized it to be of Aldens' (ofcourse she would not?!). Alden knocked the door of her room. "Alice, are you ok?" asked Alden. Alice's ear was pressed against the door, listening the voice of Alden but didn't answer. Alden with the soft tone of his voice said again,"Speak" "Alice, I know that you are standing near the door and your ear is red by pressing it against the door from the past three minutes. Alice chuckled, " Okay, okay!! you caught me. My ear is little red but its not my fault. You knocked so dramatically that I thought something serious is happening." Alden exclaimed with amuse, "Dramatically?! It was just the normal knock". The sudden silence fell in the conversation. Alden interrupted the silence and asked Alice in the husky voice, "You want me to break the door?" Alice said,"You won't be able to do that" Alden took the challenge. He took a long run and the moment he was about to hit the door, Alice opened the door and Alden fell on her. His hands on her waist and her breast crushed under his chest. Alice's cheeks flushed. There was the awkward silence. They both could hear each other's heart beating incredibly fast. They both got lost in the depth of each other's eyes. Suddenly, the thought came to Alden and he immediately distant himself from her. He thought," We are still just best friends". They both stood hesitantly and didn't even utter a single word. Alice's aunt called Alden," Alden come and have some tea" (she always hated Alice but loved Alden as he was rich). That was the very good moment for them to end the lovely awkwardness. Alden stopped near the staircase, turned his head towards Alice, smiled and thought," I wish I could tell you how much I love you, Alice" and then he moved away. Alice closed the door of her room. She stood infront of the mirror. She placed her hand on her waist, symbolizing it to be of Aldens'. She could feel his touches. She whispered," Alden, i wish i could tell you how much I love you".

The dawn approached, the stars started twinkling in the purple sky. The moon shedding its light combined with beauty on the earth. The wholly silence fell over the place but still Alice couldn't sleep. The unfortunate event of turns occurred. Alice got up from her bed, wore her slippers and stood against her bedroom's window. She was looking at the moon and suddenly a thought came to her. The thought was of Alden. His husky voice pounded in her ears. She seemed to be lost again as she had revived the deptness of his eyes. She stood under the sparkling light of the moon, lost in the memories of Alden. Suddenly, she saw the shooting star falling towards the earth, leaving behind its charm in the sky, she made the wish, "I wish me and Alden could end up together, I wish to spend the every second of my life with Alden, I wish I could tell him how much I love him". The shooting star disappeared by enclosing her wishes into its core.

The bright morning with the scorching sun welcomed the another beautiful day. Alice got ready for the school and reached the school on time (now she had not to take up the one hour lengthier lecture from her coordinator).She was thrilled. Her all the lectures went right but the history lecture was filled with the sense of curiosity and excitement. The lecture was about "time travel".  The lovely history teacher told the students about one incident which had taken place around 30 years back. " There was one boy named Lucas, he was the boy who was very curious to relive the time when world wars had befall. He always wanted to travel the time back in the time period of destruction and change" said the teacher. Alice interrupted,"Teacher why he was only curious to live the war moment? Wasn't he afraid?". Teacher smiled softly, "It wasn't that he was not afraid, though he was well aware of the ill effects of the wars but sometimes curiosity can overcome the fear". Alice understood the segment and nodded her head in yes. Teacher continued ,"he was filled with the great amount of curiosity that he turned the day into night and night into day just to find something through which he could travel in the past and could experience the war,could feel the emotions of people starving during the war,could put the ointment of love, care and concern on the wounds of people. The something was - time machine". With the amazement of segment, Lira(Alice's friend) spoke out loud "Time machine?!" "he developed the time machine??!!!". Teacher asked her to take the seat as she jumped out of her seat in amazement. The teacher was about to start with the next part of the segment when Zane (Alice's one of the classmate) raises the query ,"Teacher, where is that time machine now? Why we don't hear any news of people travelling in the past now?". Teacher exclaimed with thrillness, "Have some patience student, The time..." Bell rang "okay students I'll tell you about the rest segment in the next class till then your homework is to collect the all the information about world war 2". Teacher exits. Alice hanged her bag on her shoulders and left the class. In the corridor Alden was already waiting for her. She saw Alden and ran towards him. Alden exclaimed with surprise," Hey wassup!! it seems that your school went good today" "Yes Alden, you know what, today our history teacher told us about the Time travel and Time machine. informed Alice. "What?!! tell me about the whole scenario in detail Alice" said Alden, curiously. Alice asked him "can you please help me with collecting the information about the world war 2, the teacher had given us it as the homework". "Yes ofcourse, I will, lets do one thing that I will approach you at your home at 5:00 pm, then we will complete the tasks assigned to you, together " Alice agreed with him "Suree!!" (They both went towards their home laughing and giggling). 

(Isn't everything seems to be connected? Alice's bad day, Alice's wishes made to the shooting star about her confessionto Alden, History teacher giving the homework to the students related to world war 2 the following day only and Alice asking help from Alden with her homework. Maybe all this will lead to one intriguing adventure?)
