After a few months

Jimin gave Taehyung hot chocolate and sat beside him. He said, "Tae, don't be tense. Okay?"

Taehyung rubbed his forehead and said, "How can I be relaxed, Chim? My heat didn't come. The doctor said it would come after some days, but it's been months Chim. I'm afraid."

"I think the doctor was right. Maybe your heat mixed with Jungkook's rut. So stay away from him as much as you can," Jimin said.

But could he?

Taehyung's life was a mess. Now, it was ruined completely. And thanks to his feelings for the Alpha.

Both became alerted when Jungkook came out from the kitchen with food. He placed it and sat beside Taehyung.

He served Taehyung more meat, saying Taehyung was getting thin. Jimin smiled, seeing the couple who were madly in love with each other yet denying each other's feelings.

He wished for the couple from his heart...

After dinner, Jimin left. Taehyung silently sat there while Jungkook did the dishes.

Jungkook was proud to be Taehyung's baby boy, and he flexed it to Jimin.

After doing the chores, he sat beside Taehyung with no space. He was shocked when Taehyung moved away. He chuckled and said, "What happened?"

Jungkook stared at him when the omega said, "We should stop. It's weird, Jungkook."

"What weird?" Jungkook asked. Taehyung stared at the Alpha and said, " We're friends, right? So let's act like friends."

The Alpha frowned. He tried to hold Taehyung's hand, but the omega moved it away.

"Tae, what happened? Why are you acting like I'm a kind of disease? You've been ignoring me for days. Did I do something wrong?"

"Kook, I said we should stop."

"STOP WHAT TAE?!" Suddenly, Jungkook howled, making the omega flinch.

Jungkook never used this tone with Taehyung before. Never this tone!

Tears fell from Taehyung's eyes. Jungkook immediately realised his mistake and went close to Taehyung. He wiped the tears and said, "I'm sorry, Tae. I'm just-- sorry."

Taehyung shook his head and got up, saying, "It's not your fault, Kookie. It's mine. But we should stop. We're friends and should be friends." He ran to his room fast.

Jungkook stood there, still gazing at the way where the omega left. He felt a pain in his heart.

Wasn't his actions enough to prove his feelings for Taehyung?

Did he mistake the love stare of Taehyung? Did he mistake Taehyung's small moves showing how the older have the same feelings as him? Did he?

What did happen that they had to be friends forever?

Taehyung locked his room and broke down. He cried, hugging his pain. He couldn't look at those eyes which held only love for him.

He loved those glittering eyes so much that it became poison to him. It was showing him all the wrongdoings he did to the Alpha, to his pure heart and himself.

What would happen if Jungkook got to know about his identity? He once tasted the result.

Though Jimin came back, he was afraid Jungkook wouldn't return. Would he?
