I should've kept quiet 🥱

Flipping to the next page of my journal I wrote at the top I should've kept quiet for my siblings sake as I started writing

The police in DSS enter our home everything I described to Ms.Kenzie the school counselor they seen it was true they even went to get our doctor records in they seen we haven't been to the doctor in years

they started asking my mother question after question she just froze up because everything was very unexpected in she was very high she barely could've stand on her feet some how Rick must be knew we needed him real bad at the moment he stopped by to check up on us as always

He seen all the cops outside he talked to them I guess whatever he said was good enough for them to hear because they left I forgot to mention a couple months ago Rick left my mother because she started using his drugs that he was selling in turnt into a drug addict in since then the house went back down

Rick came to check on us from time to time to make sure we okay!!! Rick came in asking us what was happening we never told Rick what was really going on but now i didn't have no choice because I open my mouth in got us into all this mess

I told Rick from beginning to end what happen in what my momma put us through all he could've do was cry cause he didn't know we been through all that he got up in went into my mother room all I heard was yelling in cussing I couldn't do nothing but cry cause I should've been quiet

once Rick left my mother came into my room in beat me so bad for running my mouth she started saying I was the reason why our family finna get separated in everything she just started blaming me for everything I don't know what she told my siblings but they wouldn't even say a word to me

the next day a lady came in knock on our door I went limping to the door because my mother had beat me so bad I could've barely walk I had bruises all across me !! I open the door it was a lady with a bunch of paper in her hands she said she was from DSS in was checking in because she seen me in my siblings missed school today

I told her we just wasn't feeling school today soon as I tried to close the door she stop the door in told me I am here to take you in your siblings to the doctor for a random check up as she showed me the paper that was issued to her by the cops

fucked I said to myself I know it's over for my family we will be taken if we go to the doctor I said as I closed my journal !
