"Divine Spiritual Energy. Otherwise known as Divine Spirit, is the basics of how all and any magic works. A blessing from the gods of this world- those born with more purpose in the grand scheme of things will of course have more than others. As you all know, there are twelve types of magic- six power scales for those types, and six classes for our guardsmen who protect Ecclesia."

"First, let us get into the types."

"Type One- or Elementals. Utilizing Divine Spirit to manipulate the elements of the world such as water, fire, earth, lightning, sound, etcetera."

"Type Two, or Projection. By projecting one's divine spirit into a physical form, weapons, barriers, and a variety of other things can be formed."

"Type Three, Summoning. Creating creatures and familiars out of Divine Spirit to do your bidding and help you in tasks."

"Type Four, Healing. Utilizing Divine Spirit to mend the wounds of oneself and others- of course all guardsmen can do this, yet Type Fours require minimal effort."

"Type Five, or spatial manipulators- a very rare type that is capable of creating lapses in space, portals, separate spaces- however this uses extremely large amounts of Divine Spirit."

"Type Six, Temporal manipulators. Equally as rare and twice as draining, Divine Spirit is utilized to mend one's local time to their will."

"Type Seven, or Body Manipulators are capable of reshaping their own bodies into weapons using Divine Spirit."

"Type Eight, Physical Prowess, use Divine Spirit to boost their physical capability- obviously."

"Type Nine, one of the rarest, is Soul Manipulators. These are utterly dangerous guardsmen who can rip your soul to shreds and kill with no trace of damage."

"Type Ten, Hybrids, are a mix between two or more types."

"Type Eleven, or Outliers, don't match up with any type categorization- and as such are anomalies."

"And finally.. Type Null. Or Type Zero. Someone who can utilize their divine energy to perform actions that all types- except type eleven- can perform."

"Each Type has its own advantages and disadvantages- however should you ever encounter a Type Null, your best bet is to simply run away. Even if they are inexperienced they are extremely dangerous beings."

"Of course, the secondary classification for every type simply scales how powerful one is with their magical classification. A Type One-Three would be an elemental who is moderately dangerous. A type Null-Null is an extremely dangerous; practically invincible foe."

"The same applies for class. Class simply ranks how experienced and powerful a guardsman is."

"Guardsmen are, as we all know, based around fighting Harbingers and Unholy Energy Wielders. A Harbinger is a guardsmen-level force of evil, while an unholy energy wielder is what we refer to mindless creatures who are made of divine spirit and roam around, ravaging all that they can."

"And then.. the clans. Each clan has their attributes, and the highest clans have ocular blessings. The most prominent of these being the Obayaji Clan- with their two ocular blessings. Allow us to review the prominent clans and their blessings known attributes."

"Of course, the Obayaji Clan wields three blessings one can be born with. One blessing is the Indomitable Personal Sanctum, a pocket dimension that allows for devastating attacks. The other two are ocular blessings. One of which is a dazzling green pair of eyes known as the Temporal Sage Eyes. These eyes are only used once activated, and allow the wielder to near perfectly manipulate time for a short span of.. well, time. Almost all members have these eyes. Members of the Obayaji Clan have white and gold divine energy if it is manifested physically."

"And the other, the blessing that is an approximate of one in every one trillion born to the clan- of which there have only ever been three holders, the Infinite Eyes of Elysium. Dazzling purple eyes that are always active. Not much is known about them, other than that the holder of them will almost certainly be type Null-Null."

"The Obayaji clan is known for being an extremely rich clan of visionaries who are said to be able to predict the future- also having created and sold their own traditional clothing, taught customs- they are known typically as the Ancient Clan."

"The Kurogaseki Clan, and most of its members wield the ocular blessing known as the Spatial Dominance Vision. Deep blue eyes that allow one to perfectly perceive how Divine Energy affects space; easily manipulating it at a cost of their eyes straining greatly."

"The Kurogaseki Clan is a group of cosmologically fascinated intellectuals who have been prominent in the exploration of the stars."

"The Kokikicho Clan wields the Eyes of Ra, an ancient set of eyes that allow for solar magic to be utilized. Extremely dangerous, and costly. The eyes are dazzlingly white with flecks of gold."

"The Kokikicho Clan is a religiously based clan that focuses on praising the sun and its gifts."

"And finally, out of the prominent clans, the Hiramatsu clan. They wield the Earthbound Blessing. A blessing that connects them with the Earth so deeply that they go beyond any elemental."

"The Hiramatsu Clan is known for being beautiful and handsome due to their years of travel and nomadic behavior before finally settling down."

"There are many nations, but you will learn about that later in your history books. You are currently in Ecclesia, a magically based nation with an academy that trains guardsmen to combat all magic wielding forces who would dare attempt to disturb the peace."

"We are in a golden age. A new wielding of the Infinite Eyes of Elysium has been born, and reportedly, he is a Type Null-Null, soon to be classified as class null as well. It has been centuries since triple zeroes have appeared.. yet this era slowly has begun to show them. We must be ready incase our opposition gains powerful figures as well."

"We must be ready for an age of new conflict."
