August lazily twirled his pen between his nimble fingers, propping up his heavy head with his left hand. His gaze flicked back to the faint glow of his computer screen, where his character idly farmed in League of Legends, his all-time favorite game—a habit he'd sunk over $40,000 into. Just as he started to slip into a moment of peace, the door creaked open, and his roommate, Toji, stepped in. The sight of him—tall and imposing, eyes sharp as daggers—sent a rush of warmth to August's cheeks. Clumsily, he got to his feet, a shy giggle escaping his lips. "Hey..." he murmured, meeting Toji's stern, piercing gaze.
The heavy thud of Toji's boots echoed around the room, the sound prickling along August's skin. He swallowed hard, feeling a chill run down his spine. "You upset?" he managed to choke out. In a swift movement, Toji's hand shot out, gripping a fistful of August's dark brown hair, tilting his head back to make him meet his gaze.
"Kitten," Toji growled, his voice like thunder rumbling just before a storm, "did you go behind my back and spend a few hundred on Daddy's card?"
A cold sweat broke over August's skin, his heart pounding. He hadn't expected Toji to find out so quickly. Unable to meet the fierce, punishing gaze of his Alpha, he stammered, "I-I'm sorry..." His voice was barely a whisper, a shy murmur on the verge of breaking.
Toji's grip tightened, his growl vibrating through the air, sending a jolt down August's spine. "Sorry isn't enough, and you know that." Toji then proceeded to give the male backshots, which were lethal.. august then died... fly high, october 16 2024
