Two and a half months ago |The night of Paige and Hannah's First Kiss
The movie credits rolled quietly, but neither Paige nor Hannah paid attention to the screen. The room was cloaked in shadows, the faint light of the TV casting a soft glow over them as they pulled away from their first kiss, their breaths mingling in the air between them.
Hannah’s gaze dropped to Paige’s lips, slightly swollen and glistening, a lingering trace of moisture clinging to them. She could feel the warmth radiating from Paige’s body, her heart racing in the aftermath of that electrifying moment.
Paige was breathless, her eyes wide as she stared back at Hannah. “Wow,” she said softly, a hint of disbelief dancing in her tone.
“Yeah,” Hannah replied, her heart fluttering. She felt a mixture of exhilaration and uncertainty.
“I’ve been waiting to do that,” Paige confessed, her voice barely above a whisper.
Hannah chuckled nervously. “No, you haven’t.”
“Yes, I have! I’ve been thinking about it, actually, all summer,” Paige insisted, her brow furrowing slightly.
"That's not true," Hannah said, blushing, her face still centimeters away from Paige's.
"Why do you think it's not true?” Paige challenged, curiosity piqued.
“I don’t know. I just know you haven’t,” Hannah replied, a teasing smile tugging at her lips.
“Well, good thing I don’t have to wait anymore,” Paige said, her confidence returning as she leaned in again, their lips meeting once more.
This time, the kiss deepened, igniting a spark that sent shivers down Hannah’s spine.
As they pulled away again slightly, Paige’s hand found its way to Hannah’s leg, fingers grazing her skin and moving slowly up to her hip. Hannah could feel herself breathing harder, the air thick with unspoken tension.
The kiss had quickly transformed from innocent to heated, and she felt the tip of Paige’s tongue brush against her lips, teasing her and pushing her boundaries.
Hannah’s mind raced. This was escalating fast, and she knew they were teetering on the edge of something deeper.
“Um,” she stammered, taking a small step back to create some space. “Maybe we could put on another movie?” she said, noticing the credits ending.
Paige frowned, uncertainty flashing across her face. “Um, yeah if that's what you want," she said, still close to Hannah's mouth. "But, uh, you don’t want to... keep going?” Paige asked, chuckling nervously to try and not make it awkward.
“It’s not that I don’t want to,” Hannah reassured her, though she felt a hint of doubt creeping in. “It’s just… maybe we can take it slow?”
“Take it slow?” Paige echoed, processing the idea. “Uh okay, yeah, let’s put on another movie then.”
They settled back into the couch, selecting instead a show that Hannah insisted would be fun to watch and to distract themselves. But throughout the first episode, Paige’s touch was constant—her hand resting on Hannah’s leg, stealing kisses along her cheeks and jaw, making Hannah giggle. Each caress sent ripples of nervous excitement through Hannah, who could feel the tension building within her. She knew that if they kept kissing, it would lead to something more, and she wasn’t ready for that, not just yet.
