Colby keeps on cursing about Afuru as he stands at whatever this place was. It's too bright, too bright for his liking. He looked over at his clothes, noticing it slowly started to vanish...
He needs to fix this faster. The faster he looks over for Ray, the faster this would end... And finally, he can finally reconcile with Ray...
He looked around and started wandering around whatever this place is... How can a small round thing that surrounded Ray could be this big on the inside...? No, he can't ask questions right now.
Questions later, Ray is his priority right now. Right now, where is he?
Colby keeps on walking, wandering, turning left, right, somewhere, just somewhere, where Ray is... Where is his brother?
More walking, more looking, more searching... Until he sees him... Ray...
Ray, who's on his knees. Ray, who's holding his face as if it would melt by his curse. Ray, his step-brother... His name is... Xever Aguilera...
Colby was shocked and stunned at first, then finally got the courage to go towards him. It was hard, with Ray's Curse that destroyed half part of his clothes and almost burned his body, and his left eye that was shot by Ray...

It's just an instinct, a rage he can't control but he really doesn't want to provoke his brother...
It did not stop his brother's sadness and it only made it worse and in fact, the light inside this place was getting stronger than he thought!
"I-I'm sorry!" Those very sentences stop his brother from shaking but the light still hasn't weakened yet, Colby grabs onto his shoulder, his tears starting to form as he looks at Ray in pain, "Xever.. I'm... I'm sorry... I'm sorry! For everything! I'm sorry for treating you and your mother as an outsider! I'm sorry for not noticing your pain! I'm sorry for being a douchebag! I am so sorry for everything I have done! I just don't want to take the responsibility thinking that I could ruin his reputation! But not only his, but you as well... I am so sorry for doing this! I am so sorry for not defending you, I am sorry for not being there like a brother does for his brother! I am sorry for everything!"
The burns hurt but all he could focus on was his brother, Xever... His step-brother... His brother...
"So please..." Colby's voice already sounds so weak, like he is dying but he is still clinging for life, "Please, come back... Come back, Xever..."
No response, the burn didn't stop. It started to get hot here... The light is so bright, too bright to be hell but still...
At the very least, he could die here knowing he did try his best to help Xever... Even if Xever won't forgive him–
"I'm sorry..."
Colby suddenly felt someone pull him in a hug as the words that are not him said. Slowly, he tries to turn his head despite the pain, he can't see Xever's face but he knows what kind of expression that his step-brother shows.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry Colby..." Xever apologised again and again, his voice sounded so broken as he broke down crying while still hugging Colby. His tears weren't considered normal anymore with how it glows brightly, as if his tears were made out of gold.
"Idiot... You have nothing to apologise for... I'm the one who should apologise..." Colby said as the pain he felt slowly faded but it still lingering somewhere in his mind...
"But—"
"Shut it..." Colby said, slowly separating the hug as he looked at Xever, "If anything, I'm sorry. Sorry for being a shitty brother you ever have... Sorry for being a nuisance to you..."
Colby felt so weak, so much pain, it hurt him but he needed to say it, say the last one before it started to get dark in here...
"I'm sorry, for not being there for you," Just that last word, "When those tutors came, those excuse-of-a-tutors... Those bastards... I have dealt with them for you..."
It was soft, so faint, but he could clearly hear Xever gasp. Then came a chuckle, and he felt something wrap his body... He gets pulled to another hug...
"Thank you... Thank you... Colby..."

"Just rest Xever... You deserve it..."
