Since grade 7, I've loved you so,
My heart beating for you, forever to grow.
Through laughter and tears, I've stood by your side,
Watching you flourish, with a love that won't subside.

In classrooms and hallways, our paths would cross,
My soul skipping beats, with every fleeting loss.
Your smile, your laugh, forever etched in my mind,
A bittersweet reminder, of love left behind.

I've hidden my truth, afraid to confess,
My feelings for you, in silent distress.
Fear of rejection, of hearts not aligned,
Has kept my secret safe, but my soul entwined.

Years passed, and grades blurred, like falling  ouleaves,
Grade 12's threshold, our final teenage eaves.
Graduation nears, our time runs low,
My love for you, will forever glow.

Memories linger, of shared joys and fears,
Late-night conversations, through laughter and tears.
Our friendship grew, but my heart desired more,
A love that's remained, forever in store.

Perhaps someday, you'll see what's true,
That my heart beats for you, with a love anew.
But for now, I'll hold on, loving you from afar,
A silent admirer, of your shining star.

As we part ways, and our paths diverge wide,
Know that my love, will forever reside.
In the halls of memory, our moments will stay,
A bittersweet reminder, of love that's gone astray.
