Before the Cataclysm (B.C.)
Age of the Gods:
- 1,000,000 B.C.
The King of All Gods, the supreme deity who ruled over the heavens and the Earth, presides over a harmonious and orderly cosmos.
- 800,000 B.C.
The King of All Gods mysteriously vanishes from his throne, plunging the heavens into turmoil. The gods, driven by ambition and hunger for power, engage in fierce battles to claim the vacant throne. This period marks the beginning of the Age of Conflict.
Age of Conflict:
- 700,000 B.C.
The gods' savage combat ravages the celestial realms, leading to the near-destruction of the divine order. Humanity, caught in the crossfire, suffers greatly as the gods' conflict spills over into the mortal world.
- 600,000 B.C.
The gods' endless struggle creates a profound divide between the ancient gods who once governed and the emerging new gods. Humanity endures widespread devastation, their faith shattered and souls tainted by divine greed.
- 500,000 B.C.
The gods, realizing the futility of their conflict and their own humiliation, are forced to bow in shame. In an attempt to redeem themselves, they send guardians to Earth, imbued with different souls, to cleanse the corruption they had sown.
Age of Restoration:
- 400,000 B.C.
The guardians arrive on Earth, charged with purging the corruption of the gods and guiding humanity towards redemption. Over time, faith in the gods begins to rekindle as the guardians help heal the shattered world.
- 300,000 B.C.
As humanity mends, guardians grow attached to those they guide, developing personal relationships that blur the lines between divine duty and human desire. Their evolving yearnings spark a new conflict, as the guardians' desires ignite a renewed war.
Age of War:
- 200,000 B.C.
The guardians, divided into factions—rebels, righteous, and neutrals—engage in a brutal conflict. The righteous guardians, seeking to restore honor, pledge to the gods to resolve the war on their own.
- 150,000 B.C.
The righteous guardians emerge victorious, casting the rebellious factions into eternal exile. The conflict settles, but the repercussions of the war leave deep scars on the world.
Age of Decline:
- 100,000 B.C.
With the war's end, the gods concede that none among them can claim the throne of the old king. Both gods and guardians retreat into obscurity, wary of inciting further strife.
Age of Kings and Queens:
- 50,000 B.C.
The gods and guardians disappear from mortal sight, ushering in a new era for humanity. Kingdoms rise and fall across the continent of Aldevia, with new powers emerging to fill the void left by the divine beings.
