"You're awfully quiet Lilith" Oluo stated

"I don't have anything to say"

"You're joining us for this expedition, you can add your input"

"It wouldn't matter. I have my own orders." I look up at the sky

"And what orders is that?"

"I'm just here to protect Eren"

"Are we not capable of doing that? We don't need you"

"Are you implying that you're better than me? I'll have you know that your captain that you idolize so much has surrendered to me before."

"Captain Levi? Is that true?" Petra asked him

"Tch. Just lay off of her guys" Levi huffed and I smirked triumphantly.

I walked away from the group and over to Levi. He was petting his black stallion. I loved watching his cold exterior chip away with animals. His horse then turned to the side and licked my horse, who in return, nuzzled her face into his neck.

"I think our horses are in love" I say as I walk up to him and pet Saint

"Considering Rogue hates everyone who comes near him, I can see why you'd think that" he replies and I smile

"You're pretty Levi"

"Where the hell did that come from?"

I giggle "What do you mean? I told you when we first met."

"You're insufferable" he huffed

We then turn to look at each other at the same time. My lips slightly curve up and even with that stoic expression, I can see his eyes visibly soften.

I was positioned behind the squad, directly behind Eren. Levi kept turning around to check on Eren I assume, but every time he did we would make eye contact. Something bad was going to happen, I could feel it in my bones. Although, I wasn't sure what exactly it was. I didn't feel nervous about Levi or Eren necessarily. I chalked it up to just being separated from Hange. I couldn't worry myself about Hange, they would be safe with Erwin's squad, Miche's squad and eventually Levi as well. Hange is smart and physically capable of handling themselves, sometimes when I worry I feel like it's discrediting them. They just tend to get too excited when it comes to titans sometimes.

Things seemed to be going smoothly until a scout came to report that the whole right wing was wiped out. Levi sent Petra to relay the message down the line. We noticed black smoke signals and I pulled out my blades, preparing to defend Eren in the case that it appeared before it could get captured. Eren started tweaking out about us heading into the forest. I felt bad that nobody besides Levi and I knew what was going on. There was a black smoke signal not too far behind us. Levi ordered the squad to draw their blades.

All of a sudden, a female looking titan came sprinting at us. Levi ordered everyone to speed up and we did. Everyone begun to panic about the situation. Levi ignored their pleas and then ordered everyone to cover their ears as he shot an acoustic shell. Besides it being loud, it wouldn't bother me so I didn't cover my ears. Scouts began to approach the female titan in hopes of slowing it down, which caused Eren to freak out about helping them. Eren brought his hand up to his mouth to transform but luckily Levi and Petra were able to talk him out of it. The titan then began sprinting towards us.

Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed her reaching towards Eren. I swiftly stood up on my horse and turned my head to look at the titan.

"Lilith!" Eren screamed
