Mirchi film shortcomings
For me,mirchi is a entertaining film like those films which can watched numbers of times
Even if it is bad film critically but can makes me watched without being bored then I’m totally fine.
Today i saw watched King no 1 (nagarjuna's ) it was hit as far i know..
We saw this film from literally from 2010..it was telecasted in sony max then I Watched few times in YouTube.
I realised this movie have so many twists and turns but it never bore me my brother was saying “this film have so many stories in one” i realised its true but they did it with conviction..and as far the main point connects..so it’s totally fine.
So mirchi is same kind of film for me..
I enjoyed it watching and credits goes to 2nd half of the film especially prabhas and anushka.
And i feels shortcomings in 1st half that jai-manasa angle.
Why it’s all over written that jai fall in love with manasa.(but film give such vibe typical ddlj)
First movie scene was correct jai got to know manasa is from that village and it was simple genuine.
But later he comes up then trying all this too impress those not make sense. (Is he knew that manasa is from same family or he investigate and planned to land in her house with her help which later changed) it was never explained.
Jai feels sad for her about how miserable condition of her home.and i really didn’t understand why she part away from jai (she only spend few moments with him.its not they are lovers or bestie)
And why is jai being all flirty with her.then First woo her brother then entering to her house telling that he came here for her to make her happy (it gives totally lover vibes) his lover looks makes no sense!!! even though he was supposed to be in love with vennela who is waiting for him back to his home.
And bramhi totally went wastes in the film he have such a comic scene with prabhas in rebel but here nothing was special to remembered
Jai enter and gel up with all ,making relationships with each one except that uncle .he wins every one’s heart like ddlj .I’m sorry for comparing
It again and again with DDLJ.
In DDLJ, they have same format .they are having flirty conversation aNd he eyeing on her waist..
Then him dancing as her marriage alliance not happening basically he is happy that her mother spoke first time and give her opinion what she wants for her daughter. So he is happy that he is successful in making changes here but out of the blue. Manasa kisses jai on the cheek and he smiles and happy (don’t he realized its not a friendly kiss or thank you kiss or done in affection he was all happy and stared on.. Is getting a kiss on the cheek, from anybody, is that simple? He might understood till now manasa having feeling for him..but it didn’t show on his face. I know director wants to shook us with his identity .
Mirchi best part is its back story which is original story..jai meet his his father and it seems simple not extraness ,through i first thoughts vennela portray is same kind role a girl obsess with herself.
But I was wrong she is strong enough to take decisions. I really loved they didn’t make her totally village girl She can handle his urban city lifestyles so as village.they didn’t make it cultural difference, she is learning work in his office and spending time with him.
Then the song is 😍.they are slowly moving on to theirs feelings. Enjoying their moments.
She leaves the house in his absence. His face tell that he feels empty around him.
And then the iconic propose.
So the way the portray jai in 2nd half it don’t make sense to his scenes with manasa. And manasa too don’t show any reaction that jai loves someone else. He hardly remember his lover..only in one scene where he just tell the villain that he separated him from his father. From his love.
It’s don’t fulfill as lover angle. He should had express his sorrow for his love
Those loopholes are stayed. I remembered prabhas have some old movie called pournami..their format is same . you people may feel it outdated now
But its story that prabhas comes there to stay at outhouse of chandrakala where chandrakala’s elder sister pournami is used to do dance practice. Chandrakala hated how shiva (prabhas) is staying at the place which were close to her sister whom people said that her elder sister run away with some guy.
Shiva and chandrakala have funny banter between each other.shiva always behave nice with chandrakala’s father,respect and help him.
He discredit when some girl hitting on him. Chandrakala starts mesmerising by him. He fights for her deadly which makes her fall in love with him
And later revealed he is husband of pournami..i really like how they showcase shiva pournami lhim.their back story is shown.pournami is died while saving shiva.and he came here to fulfil her last wish.
After revelation.it expressed how much pournami means to him. (Which missing in mirchi) later many drama.he know he had affection for chandrakala and started having soft corner. They got married.
But in mirchi movie it was missing. When all were talking about his marriage with manasa the focus is that this marriage can’t happen as I’m son of deva
So these are shortcomings.
