My pov:

I quickly headed to the beach after I successfully escaped from Francis and transformed into a mermaid and swam into the ocean. This time I went to Russia and started exploring the streets of Moscow.

I went to the first boutique I saw and bought a winter outfit to keep myself warm. After paying for the outfit and putting it on.

I started roaming around the city, I stopped by at a restaurant and ordered some Pelmeni; Russia's national dish. Once my food arrived, I started eating and savoring the food with joy.

Third person pov:

As you sat and savored your meal, completely immersed in enjoying your food, you didn't notice the presence of a certain tall, stoic Russian man watching you from afar. Ivan Braginsky, the personification of Russia, stood a few tables away from you, his intense violet eyes fixed on you as he observed your every move.

My pov:

I stopped eating abruptly when I felt someone staring at me. But I pretended to be okay as I continued to finish my food. Once I was done, I quickly paid for my meal and left the restaurant.

Third Person pov:

As you left the restaurant, Ivan followed closely behind you, his footsteps quiet and purposeful. He kept a distance, not wanting to be noticed, but his eyes were trained on you as he followed you through the streets of Moscow.

He wasn't sure what it was about you that sparked his curiosity, but he found himself strangely drawn to you, something he hadn't felt in ages.

Ivan continued to follow you, his steps falling perfectly in time with yours. He was a master at remaining silent and inconspicuous, making it near impossible for you to lose him.

As you turned another corner, a hand suddenly grabbed your arm and pulled you into an alleyway. Before you could react, Ivan had you pinned against the wall, his large frame towering over you as he looked down at you with intense violet eyes.

"W-Who are you and what do you want from me?! " You ask in a terrified voice

Ivan's expression darkened as he leaned in closer, pinning you more firmly against the wall with his body. His grip on your upper arms was strong, and he seemed to tower over you even more in the secluded alley.

"You've been quite elusive," he said in a deep, gravelly voice. "I've been following you for a while now. I'm Ivan Braginsky, the personification of Russia. And I'd like to know who you are and what you're doing here."

"My name is Y/n and... I'm just here for sightseeing... " you replied nervously

Ivan studied you closely, his intense eyes scanning your face as he took in your nervous demeanor. He could sense that you were hiding something, but he couldn't quite put his finger on what it was.

"Sightseeing, hm? You've been quite thorough then," he said, his tone neutral but hinting at skepticism. "You've been all over Moscow, haven't you?"

My Pov:

How the fuck did he knew?! Has he been watching me ever since I started traveling in countries 5 years ago after the war in the Philippines?!

"I've... visited before " I explained

Third Person pov:

Ivan's lip curled into a faint smile at your explanation, his grip on you loosened slightly as he relaxed a bit.

"Oh? So you've visited before, have you?" he said, his voice a mix of curiosity and amusement. "And how long have you been in Moscow for this time?"
