Sylus's red eyes flashed as Charlotte felt something was wrong.

She held his shoulder as she pushed him away a little.

This time she could easily push him away.

She breathed heavily as she tried to speak.

"W-what....happened?"

Sylus smirked as he rested his head on her shoulder. His face was right beside her neck and he smelled her scent.

"I...I can smell you.."

Charlotte widened her eyes when she realized what was happening.

She turned her head a little and looked at his dominating face.

She gulped before speaking,

"Y-you what...?!"

"I can fucking smell you!"

This time there was a huge smile on his face making her heart tremble because of how weak she was against him.

Charlotte opened her mouth but nothing came out as Sylus lovingly watched his mate's speechless sight.

His left hand moved the hair in front of her eyes as he caressed her cheeks.

"I.... that's... the reason why I was feeling different..?"

Suddenly she stopped talking as she looked at him with two red cheeks.

"Y-you are in a rut!" She said as she held his shoulder.

"Where are your medicines? I-is it in your office? Or in your... N-no wait, I also have your medicines! So stay here! I will bring it here-"

Sylus chuckled at his mate's words as he shook his head.

"Why should I take medicine when I have my mate here?"

Charlotte stopped talking as she noticed him smirking.

She gasped when she felt him sneaking one of his hands into her waist, securing and locking her under his mercy.

"It's your fault that I am going through my rut."

Sylus groaned but what melted Charlotte was the way he called her by her name.

Sylus could feel her going weak as he smirked and supported her fully.

Charlotte didn't hear what he said as she was in a daze. She only heard the word Alpha as she looked into his eyes as she spoke.
