Ch. 4-Butler's Capricious

Sebastian grabbed my wrist bringing me to the ballroom and I asked "Why are we at the ballroom, Sebastian?" Sebastian said to me "I'm teaching you to play the piano", I said "Sebastian, I don't think it's a good idea" and Sebastian turned around said "Look, Lynn. I just wanted to see how well you play it, okay" but before I could say something to him, we heard Ciel calling out "Sebastian! Lynn!" Ciel explain everything to us on what we're going to do in our mission and so, we got our stuff all packed up and heading towards his country townhouse in London, I just looking out the window and Ciel noticed that I was very quiet, he said to himself 'She's awfully quiet today'. We're finally made it to his townhouse, I opened the door for Ciel to get out of the carriage and I said "Here you go, my Lord" and Ciel said "I hate this. There are too many people in London", we're heading to the door and Sebastian said to him "There is no helping it, my Lord", I also said "It's a tradition for the nobility to migrate en masse to town from the country every season, my Lord". We're at the front door and Ciel said it coldly "The season, eh? A waste of time if you ask me", I said "Well, at least that you're away from the manor and enjoy the peace and quiet that is surrounding you" and Sebastian said "Well said, Lynn".

Ciel said "Some peace and quiet sounds nice", then Sebastian opened the door and we all see his townhouse a mess! I said to myself 'What the HELL!' but then we heard Madame Red in frustrated voice "Goodness sake. Where do they keep the tea in this house?" Lau is looking in the vase and said "I can't find it either", I said to myself 'You must be really stupid, Lau' and then Madame Red turned her head looking at Lau and said "Don't be silly, of course it's not in there". Ciel looked confused and asked "Madame Red?! Lau?! What are you doing here?!" Madame Red turned around and sees us three standing there in the door way said "Ciel! You're early dear. And I see you brought Lynn with you!" I looked at her and said "That's because I'm his butler, Madame Red" but she continue "I never would have expected that" and then Lau said "Your sudden appearance here in town must mean--", Madame Red interrupted Lau "The Queen's guard dog has a new scent to follow". Ciel and the others are sitting down in the Salon, while Sebastian and I are making some tea and snacks as well.

While Sebastian and I handed out the tea and the snacks around, Ciel said to Madame Red and Lau "He struck again. Another prostitute was found gruesomely murdered in White chapel. These killings are far from normal. The level of violence we're seeing is unprecedented", Sebastian added "The most recent victim was a woman named Mary Ann Nichols. It appears a special type blade was used on her. She was torn up beyond recognition" and I said "The murderer's distinctive style has earned him a unusual nickname from the press. Jack the Ripper". Ciel looking at me and said "Impressive, Lynn", Lau said to me "A frightening name, eh?" Ciel said to Lau with his eyes closed "That's why I'm here earlier than expected. I hurried into town to look into the situation" but then Lau made a comment how Ciel can handle the crime scene without tossing his cookies. I looked at Lau and said to him "This is Ciel Phantomhive that you're talking about, sir. Ciel is the HEAD of the Phantomhive AND service to his Queen. So if I were you, don't ever asked a foolish questions to young master again, do I make myself perfectly clear, Lau?" Lau nodded his head and said "Crystal clear, Lynn. So sorry", Ciel whispered to Sebastian "Remind me not to mess with her, Sebastian" and Sebastian said "Yes, my master". We were at the crime scene but the Inspector walked up to us and told Ciel that he shouldn't see this scene until we see Sir Randall, but we decided to leave and then Madame Red asked "Now what, dear?"

Ciel kept on walking straight ahead and said "Now we go see someone who may be useful", Lau said to Ciel "My Lord! You mean...!" Ciel just smiled and said "Yes, indeed" and we stopped in front of an Undertaker's parlor, where a large black coffin lay beside the door, and a sign topped with a skull, the group stared at the building, Lau asked "So, where are we?" I looked at Lau and I was about to walk over to punch him in the face but someone grabbed both of my arms and whispered to my ear "I don't think that it's a good idea", I slowly turned my head and whispered back to Sebastian "But Sebastian" and then he pull me close to his chest and said "Not but, Lynn. Later on, you and I are going to have a chat alone" and then I said "Yes, Sebastian". Sebastian explains "It's a funeral parlor run by an acquaintance of our Lord's", then we enter a dark room, coffins lay shut on the floor and propped on tables. I see bottles lined on the shelves and an anatomical model standing by its side, I heard a sinister chuckle enter the air and the mystery person said to Ciel "Welcome, I thought I'd be seeing you before long. My Lord, it's so lovely to see you".
