Azar: "WE NEED TO TALK!" he shouted.

Ray looked at his brother, a cigarette in hand, blowing out smoke.

"Sure, we need to," he said and turned his back again toward the balcony, his hands clenching the railing.

"I love her," Azar said in a stern tone.

"And I do too," Ray replied blankly, emotionless. His grip on the railing tightened.

"YOU CAN'T! SHE'S MINE!" Azar suddenly yelled. Ray turned toward him, eyes red with anger. Without hesitation, he grabbed Azar by the throat, choking him.

"Do you think Dad would've given her to you if I had been there? Can't you understand? I love her-I love her like crazy. You're my younger brother, and I don't want to hurt you, but if you keep pushing like this, I don't know what I'll do..." Ray said, sounding unhinged as he stared into Azar's eyes, then harshly shoved him to the floor. Azar quickly regained his balance and turned his back on Ray.

"I DON'T CARE IF YOU'RE MY BROTHER OR NOT. SHE'S BEEN MINE FROM DAY ONE, AND SHE ALWAYS WILL BE!" he shouted and stormed off.

Ray watched his brother leave, then threw the cigarette to the ground, gripping his hair in frustration and yelling like a maniac.

"IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT, DOVE. ALL YOURS!" Ray shouted, punching the wall repeatedly until his fist started to bleed.

Mr. Win looked at the file and smirked before walking toward the library. He pulled out his phone and dialed a number.

"Come to the library," he said, then hung up.

Ray messily wrapped his bleeding fist and pushed open the door. Mr. Win sat at the table, focused on the file. Ray frowned and walked toward him.

"Dad, you called?" Ray asked. Mr. Win hummed and gestured for Ray to sit in the chair across from him.

Ray sat down, his gaze questioning. "What is it?" he asked.

Mr. Win handed him the file. Ray began reading each page intently. When he reached the last page, a smirk formed on his lips.

"Does Eve know?" Ray asked.

"Since the beginning," Mr. Win responded.

"Oh, this will be fun," Ray chuckled.

"What about Dax?" Ray asked.

"Your mother has already told him everything," Mr. Win said.

The night passed, and morning arrived.

Ray slowly walked into Eve's room and sat in a chair, watching her with dark, intent eyes. His hand traced the outline of her face in the air silently. Each breath she took made Ray's heart race. He watched her chest rise and fall with every soft breath, and how her lips gently pressed together as she slept.

He got up from the chair, walked over to her, and sat on the floor beside her bed. He placed his hand on the mattress and rested his head on it, his eyes still fixated on her face.

"You know, Dove... The first time I heard your voice, my world stopped. Then, when your eyes met mine, I saw your world-so peaceful, so beautiful. I thought I'd die from a heart attack from how fast my heart was beating, but I didn't. Instead, it captured you. It's been like that for years-searching for you in every street, every city, every country. I tried so hard to stop this madness, but I couldn't. Whatever you did to me... I don't know. But this distance between us made me sick, and the only cure is you. My addiction to you, Dove... I can do anything for it. Even if it means killing him, I will."

"You're Baldwin's possession, Dad said, but he isn't. And you knew it, yet you still followed him. Why, Dove? Why, Angel?"

"How could you do this to me? Why didn't you wait for me? Did you love him? You don't, right? Because if you do, I'll rip that precious heart out, because it can only be mine. Like mine belongs to you... Right, Eve?"

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?" Azar shouted, catching sight of Ray near Eve's bed. He stormed over, shoving him away.

Eve woke up with a start, her eyes instantly filling with tears.

"Shh, it's okay..." Ray whispered, moving back toward Eve and cupping her face with trembling hands.

"GET AWAY!" Azar roared and shoved Ray aside again.

"Pl-please d-don't..." Eve stammered, her voice broken by sobs.

Azar's cold eyes turned toward her, and without a word, he grabbed Ray's collar, ready to fight. Ray punched him hard, then dashed back to Eve.

"It's okay... It's okay. Don't be scared. I'm here..." Ray whispered, holding Eve close as she trembled in his arms.

"Leave, both of you," Ahvi said coldly, stepping into the room. She walked toward Eve, intending to hug her, but Eve backed away, retreating to the corner.

"Pl-please leave me..." Eve begged, her voice weak and tearful.

Azar clenched his fists, punched the bed in frustration, and stormed out. Ray stood still, staring at Eve before leaving as well.

Ahvi sighed, looking at Eve's trembling form. "You should rest today," she said softly before exiting the room.

Eve collapsed onto the bed, clutching the blanket tightly, her sobs the only sound filling the room.
