And Liam made it. He made it to the clouds and even further. He danced with his feet over the silky, fluffy lengths of fabric that stroke against his bare skin. It could happen that a piece of air bubble would get stuck between his toes. Liam had to be careful - it would tickle him far too much. With every step he took, the tips of his feet left silver streaks on the surface of the sky, shimmering down like an infinite veil on what lay beneath. And when he did a pirouette, some glitter trickled down and swayed gently in the wind, and everyone who saw it thought they had seen a shooting star. Some would see it in the eyes of someone they loved. Some saw it in the Star Wars Lego bricks in their children's room. And some saw it in the cold river water that swirled around their ankles. And everywhere they saw that, there would be also Liam.
