(Alexis's POV)
"Please fasten your belts."
I look out the window and goes off the plane. I rest my head towards the window and sleep.
*Dream*
It was a usual day at school, getting bullied and so on.
I head home which I hate it. While I walk home I remember my mom always telling me, "no matter what happens to me I will always be watching you."
My mom passed away when I was just 7. She was suffering from Lung Cancer and didn't make it on one of her operations. It was the day before my birthday.
I'm heading home and first thing I get from my dad is "you damn bitch why didn't you clean the house."
I had to move in with my dad. He left my mom when he found out she was pregnant.
The last thing I remember from my dream was my dad raising his hand. Fixing to slap me.
"We have landed in North Carolina."
