Chapter 4

(Hayes's POV)

I saw Alexis tap me and say, "Hey am I suppose to give this to the person beside me."

*The bell rang and Alexis walked out.

I ran up to her and said, "the note was meant for you."

"Um well okay."

(Alexis's POV}

I arrive into second period and notice a group of girls invite me to their table.

I'm just pretty sure they are very popular. Expensive watches, purses, and clothes. I decided why not? They'll only want me for one day.

Everybody can get tired of me.

They all introduce their selfs.

"Hello, I'm Ashley Lock."

"I'm Selena Tuff."

And so on it went.

Ashley said, "well tell us about you!"

"Well, um, I'm 17 turn 18 in March. I'm from California and that's pretty much it."

(A/N let's just pretend they are all 17 and 18☺️ *seniors*)

"CALIFORNIA!" Selena said.

Before I said anything Mr. Jade started talking.

The bell rings and finally lunch. The girls told me to sit by them but I told them I had promise Jake. We exchanged phone numbers and gave hugs.

"Yo, Lexi, I saved you seat." Said Jake.

"Hey. Thanks."

"So how's your first day?"

"Great made new friends." *pointing at their table*

"Lexi, well dang they are literally the head of everybody. Preps as the other girls say but hey we guys over here are considered fuck-boys."

"Haha, preps? But they seem so nice?"

"Yeah, if they like you."

"Oh, that's good"

As I bite my sandwich Hayes sits across Jake.

"Oh hey! You actually sat by me!"

"Actually, I'm just sitting by Jake."

As they talk I just wonder off. What if I shouldn't tell them about my past? They wouldn't know and I could finally change.

I glance at Hayes, I don't know but I don't find really interest in him. I feel like he's hiding something but I can't keep my finger to it.

"Alexis? Alex.." Hayes said.

"Oh, yeah sorry."

"What's your fourth period?"

"Mrs. Donald."

"Hey, same class as us!" Said Jake.

"Cool!"

(Hayes's POV)

While I was talking to Jake I couldn't stop and stare at Alexis.

She acts like a total bitch to me but I'll still have her. Nobody rejects a Grier.

(Alexis's POV)

We are walking home and I notice Hayes is following.

"Why is he following, Lindsay?"

"Oh, he has a project to do with Jake. You don't like him?"

"I mean he's cool but I don't know. He told me to text him and crap."

"Wait he broke up with Ashley already?"

"Ashley Lock?"

"Yeah how do you know her?"

"She invited me to her group and stuff."

"Oh well, just be careful. Hayes is well ask him yourself."
