Elena of Avalor-Carla & Elena talk

Part two

Third Person's POV-

Carla was on the verge of tears as she did felt one down her cheek,as she heard the dungeon door open. "Are you sure,you want to do this?" Gabe whispered,to Elena and she nodded,as he let her in.

"Carla Delgado." Elena said,in a firm tone,walking up to her with an emotionless expression on her face.

"E-Elena," the girl stammered,wiping her face from the tear that had fell too her cheek. "P-please I'll do a-anything you ask. Any-"

"Carla." Elena said Interrupting,in a strict tone that made the Delgado girl finch. "I'm sorry,about your father."

Carla nodded and felt some more tears in her eyes. "Thanks,Princess Elena. And I'm sorry about your cousin..about...you know,e-everything". Elena scoffed and looked away.

"Please,don't be," she told her. "He helped KILL my parents!"

"Elena,not to be..disrespectful," Carla started,as Elena looked back up at her with a hard stare. "It didn't exactly seem like that's what he meant to do."

"WHAT?" Elena asked,"How do you know Carla?" Elena asked,in a VERY annoyed voice.

"I-I don't..it's just from what my papa's told me,it's like both of them never knew that Shuriki was going to kill your parents,Elena". Carla explained.

Elena thought for a second...did the Delgado girl have a good point? Was Esteban telling the truth that he didn't know what Shuriki was really capable of? OR was he lying like Elena thought? Elena had very mixed feelings & emotions obviously right now. Although little did she know that so did Carla.

"Whatever,I don't care..anymore." Elena said,looking away from Carla. "Because...now he's with Ash,your mother Carla."

"I know." Carla sniffed. "She's the worst,and all this time I thought she loved us. I guess I was wrong,really wrong!"

Elena nodded,"Si,I know how that feels,Carla. Being wrong about familia." Elena forced a  smile a little bit,looking back at Carla,she  smiled a little back too.

"You'll probably never forgive my Papa and I for everything we've done." She said. "Right?" Elena didn't answer so she continued. "I mean right now,and I will forever from this day forward regret everything that my Papa & I did to harm you. And I mean with Shuriki,Fiero,
my mother & everything I've done! It's not enough..I-I know..but I AM sorry,Princess Elena". Carla's voice was breaking. She wiped her eyes.

"I believe you are,Carla." Elena told her,"But as of right now,it's very hard for me to cope with things,I mean I have this new magic". Elena scoffed at herself.

"New magic?" Carla asked confusedly.

"Yeah..since I fell into the crystal well. My emotions have been going crazy and that's why earlier today that part of the mountain came down. I was feeling overwhelmed,also know as Anxiety. So now...I can't feel anger or sadness or any emotion,most of the time something bad will happen." Elena explained,"Except Love,Happiness & calm. Those 3 can change the bad things..I think."

"Oh,wow ok.." Carla exclaimed. "I'm sorry I didn't know that."

"Why would you?" Elena asked,Carla shrugged. "I don't know..sorry." She mumbled.

"No,I'm sorry.." Elena groaned,"you didn't need that.." Elena takes a deep breath,so her magic doesn't kick in. "Anyways,I want to forgive you Carla. I really do,"

Carla beamed at this. "Yes,yes,I'll do anything you ask! I meant what I said earlier. Anything!" She said,breathlessly in a way,with hope in her voice.

"I know you would," Elena stated,"but as of right now..there's a lot going on,you understand that,right?" said Elena firmly, as the girl nodded. "Good..and because you did do a lot of bad things," Elena paused making sure her magic again didn't start,she sighed before continuing. "with your Papa. At the moment,Carla. Only. I can't forgive you.."

Carla signed & looked down annoyed at her self.

"But," The Princess said,making Carla look at her again. "eventually I will though."

Carla looked shocked. "So does this mean...?"

"Si,Carla," replied Elena with a nod & a smile. "I promise. I will eventually free your father,
Victor, Carla. Find a way to at least.."

"Gracias,Princess,thank you,Elena!" Carla said, getting excited about (hopefully) seeing her father again.

Elena folded her arms. "But Carla," said Elena in a strict voice that made Carla flinch agin. "Don't even think this lets you off the hook for even a second." She also said kind of warningly.

"What? What do you mean?" Carla asked the princess.

"Carla,when I do free your father," Elena started firmly,"you have to promise me that;if we ever stop do Ash,your father & you must face the consequences of your actions in the past. And you know what I mean,working with Shuriki & Fiero in Nueva Vista and Ash in Carzia." Elena unfolded her arms.

Carla thought for a minute...but than her mother & fathers words from earlier today echoed in her mind:

"Forget takaina!" She remembered her father saying.

"What are you saying?" She then remembered her mother asking him. "If we are ever going to be,safe we need the power of the crystal forge!"

"No!" Carla then remembered her father yelling at her. "We don't need it. You need it".
As Ash glared at him.

"We almost lost our daughter today. She is all that matters. I am through with theses dark pursuits!"

And that moment was when Ash turned her husband into stone. The person that Carla thought loved her & her father. Again her fathers,Victor's words echoed in her mind.

Carla was always all that mattered to him. She knew that now.

"I will," Carla said. "we will," she corrected,with determination in her voice & on her face. "We'll do anything you ask. To make up from our past mistakes. Make it up to you,and your Famillia,your kingdom. We will!! I promise Elena,for both of us." Carla added.

"Gracias,Carla Delgado," Elena said,putting out a hand for them to shake. Carla took her hand,and they shook hands. "I'm glad you're up to making up for your past". Elena added calmly.

Carla smiled. "You're welcome,Princess Elena." She bowed,Elena smiled before walking off,towards the captain (Gabe).
