Ava's POV--..I laughed at the joke Aushion made. We soon made our way to our destination. I saw him go, but then he turned and winked at me. I was a little surprised by what he did.

I smiled at him and made my way to the exit gate. Slaystern had a total of seven gates, three for entrance, three for exit. The seventh I did not know what was for. I was only thinking when someone grabbed me by my hand and started taking me somewhere.

I saw the person was none other than Ester. I was not angry at him, not that I was happy at him. I had a still feeling as if this was normal, as if him taking me somewhere was normal. But I had to ask him, so I said, "What the heck are you doing?" I whispered so not to attract attention.
When we entered the tennis court, he pinned me against the wall ever so gently that using 'pinned' seems to be wrong. He then came closer, more closer. I lost control over all my voluntary actions. I could not reply. I forgot how to. I never saw him this close. It was more close than the first day. I never imagined that he would look like a person coming straight from heaven.
Even though the tennis court was dark and nothing was visible, he glowed and shined through the darkness. Not only his skin shined, his eyes, his impeccable brown eyes shined. I did not know how brown eyes could shine in darkness, but his eyes managed, and that too seemed to be with much ease. I never noticed he was this beautiful. I could not look away. Now I knew why he was this famous. I stared and stared, and after a wait of a few seconds, he came closer and said, "You owe me right?." I did not reply. My mouth refusing to open, or I was forgetting how to form words. He then again came closer and whispered into my ears, "Tell me, do you."I needed to reply. I breathed, and some fraction of my actions came back, so before I could go to an open-eyed sleep, I looked at him. "Yeah."

"Then don't go on hangout with Aushion." He spoke with a voice that made me blank and numb.

I came back home. I was actually not in my right mind. I walked to my room. I could not hear or my ears were refusing to. I was in electricity or electricity was in me. I never knew that him being this close to me would cause this much effect upon me. I did not know knew why. He saved me. Is that the reason behind this adrenaline rush? No, it can't be. Why? After a few minutes, I thought, maybe he's not that bad....Later, I for a moment had forgotten the request he made to me. I did not know what to do. Aushion wanted me to go on a coffee date with him. Ester did not. I owe them both. I am confused now and I don't know what to do. Only one thought came to my mind. I think I should follow what Ester wants because I owe him more than Aushion. But Aushion is my friend and cares for me. How could I deny his wish? Oh no, what to do? I thought I should hide from Ester and go secretly with Aushion. Yes, that's what I decided to do. i decied to not tell Aushion.

The next day in university, I got up from my bed and felt like I should not go to college today. But I can't miss my college. "Ariel, I am leaving, okay?" I told my sister who, to my surprise, was writing something. She was so engaged with her work that she did not even give me a nod. I knew she would have heard, so I took my bag and started to put my essentials for that day. Then, when I was finished, I left without speaking. To the way, to the university. I saw three men who were black and were placed at different spots. I immediately knew that these men were Aushion's men. I was quite impressed by his act of kindness. I had to repay him at any cost. I soon reached my destination and looked up to see the whole Slaystern University. It was a quite mesmerizing sight, seeing how it stood still and stiff even after hundred of years made it more impeccable.

I took a deep breath and exhaled. Being so lost in my thoughts, I now realised that there was not much sunlight today and clouds seemed to be a little more but some warm rays shined. As I looked down, I saw Aushion coming towards me.

The warm light rays of sun touching his honey skin. It seemed like someone from heaven was walking towards me. It seemed like the glorious sky, majestic nature, the lively and joyful spring themselves created him. The breeze started to blow, embracing him like its own..When he smiled, his eyes closed. His dark brown hair was so perfectly designed. He looked like an angel as he approached me...I suddenly felt a gaze upon me, not of warmth...of cold. I looked around, but there at the entrance...... stood Ester, dark And cold. As if the deep, dark ocean, the night, the forest where one lost created him. His presence there was emitting the rays of misery, loneliness, sorrow, and dismay. I looked and looked, unable to look away.

Not this time I was out of control. I was in control of my body. But here, at the moment, I willingly wanted to look at him, stare at him, as he managed... No, he did not manage. He was this. The misery and the joy stood before me. But the misery was more breathtaking, and now I knew why. ...I was in love.
