Special: The Pony Ghost

Zipp was reading a story about the golden hoof. It was about a stallion who married a mare not by love, but because she had a golden hoof. One day he poisoned her and barried her body without her golden hoof. Things were going well for him, until the ghost of his wife appeared and-- 

Zipp was suddenly interuppted by Pipp and her loud singing. "Pipp, can you keep it down? I'm trying to read!" Zipp said. "Sorry Zipp, I'm busy getting ready for Nightmare Night! I'm going to be showing off my music video at Canterlove Studios!" her sister said "By the way, what are you even reading?" "I'm reading a book about spooky scary stories. One of them is about a mare who lost her golden hoof because her husband took it and she--"

Before Zipp could finish, Sunny enters with stacks of pancakes. "Who wants pancakes?!" Pipp's eyes lightened. "Sorry sis,  I need some fuel to get ready for my song!" she said as she flew downstairs. Sunny looks at Zipp concerned. "Are you okay? Do you not want any breakfast?" "I'm good." said Zipp "I'm just busy reading some spooky stories. I'm planning to do a read-a-thon here at the brighthouse!" 

"Well I'm planning to sell some pumpkin spice smoothies at the Boardtrot with Comet." Sunny said. "Well good luck with that." said Zipp, in love with her book. Sunny went downstairs and saw Izzy, Pipp, and Misty having breakfast. "Is Zipp not coming down? I saved her a bowl of unicorn flakes!" said Izzy. "No she already ate." Sunny replied. "So Izzy, what are your plans for Nightmare Night?" "I'm gonna decorate the biggest pumpkin ever and show it off at the town center! It's gonna be big and have a spooky scary face..." Izzy replied, as she continued talking she started gaining a rainbow streak around her mane as a giant pumpkin with a scary face pops up in the brighthouse.

Sunny, Pipp, and Misty were amazed at Izzy's new creative powers as her mane returns back to normal. "No need to be shocked, it's not that big of an idea." Izzy said, unaware of the giant jack-o-lantern behind her. "Um Izzy, you might wanna turn around." said Pipp. Izzy turns around as she was amazed by the gigantic pumpkin. "How did this happen?" she asked. "Must be your new creative powers." said Misty. "I love them! I guess I'll be taking this pumpkin back to the town square!" Izzy said as she used her unicorn magic to levitate the pumpkin and move it out of the crystal brighthouse. 

"So Pipp, Misty, what are you gonna be for Nightmare Night? I'm gonna be star swirl the bearded!" Said Sunny. "Myself" replied Pipp. "I'm not gonna celebrate this year. Too scary." Said Misty. Soon Sunny, Pipp, and Misty heard a knock on the door. Sunny opened it as Hitch entered. "Hey ponies!" Said Hitch. Sparky was excited more than ever. "Hey Hitch. What brings you here? Shouldn't you be getting ready for this year's apple bobbing contest?"

"I was until I got a letter from house number 13." Said Hitch. "House number 13?!" Said Sunny mortified. "What's wrong with house number 13?" Asked Pipp. "Nobody's been in house number 13 in ages! Rumor is that it's haunted!" Said Sunny. Zipp entered shocked to hear the word "haunted." "A haunted house you say? Sunny, I think we should investigate." Said Zipp. "I dunno Zipp, I got to get ready to decorate the board trot--" replied Sunny. "Come on...it'll be fun! Misty, are you in?" Said Zipp, enthusiastically. "I dunno. I'm with Sunny. This might be scary." said Misty. "Come on. You have a brave pony right here. Plus you never know if there might be candy!" said Zipp, trying to convince Sunny and Misty. 

"Alright Zipp, I'm in." Said Sunny. "I'm in too, but if it turns out to not be scary, then you owe me a chocolate bar." Said Misty. "Awesome!" Said Zipp all giddy. "I have to head out now, can't leave those apples unattended." said Hitch. "Me too. Gotta get ready for my new music video!" Said Pipp. "Let's get our costumes ready and go!" Said Sunny, mildy interested. 

Meanwhile at the ice cave, Allura was happily taking a nice nap when her pet rabbit, Twitch, pulls out a flyer for the Nightmare Night festival at the boardtrot. "Twitch, you know we can't be seen around those ponies!" Said Allura, annoyed that her rabbit wants candy. Twitch gives her the baby doll eyes and Allura smiles. "Alright fine, but only for the candy!" She said as Twitch jumped up with glee!
