Weddings can range from modest, private get-togethers to lavish celebrations. No matter the size, the only thing that remains is the two people ready to commit their lives to each other.
This special gathering is quite enormous. The main party's guests came from both sides of the family. Dressed in an array of blue, yellow and pink, the guests smile warmly at the couple ready to exchange their vows.
"You have chosen this woman to be your life partner. Will you love and respect her? Will you be honest with her always? Will you stand by her through whatever may come?" The registrar asks.
"I do."
The registrar smiles and turns to the other person.
"You have chosen this man to be your life partner. Will you love and respect him? Will you be honest with him always? Will you stand by him through whatever may come?"
"Fuck yeah!"
The audience chuckles warmly at her response.
"I mean, I do," she quickly adds, meeting her groom's eyes as she does.
The registrar smiles approvingly.
"Now in the spirit of joy and affirmation, I want to ask your families and friends a question," the registrar pauses and look towards the group of people on both sides.
"Do you, the families and friends of these two, give them your blessing and support this day, wishing them a wonderful life together?"
"We do!"
"Yes!"
The ancient ballroom decorated with flowers along the aisle, is filled with a jumble of approvals.
After the wedding is officiated, everyone gathers for the reception in the other room.
As the new wedded couple approach the dancefloor, Camila turns to Lena and whispers in her ear.
"When do you think it'll be us getting married instead?"
Lena smiles and pecks her cheek with a delicate kiss.
"Whenever you come to your senses sweetheart."
"Touché," Camila nods in exaggeration and intertwine her fingers with Lena's.
"Do you think they will last?" She asks Lena, whispering in her ear.
"Naomi is obsessed with Jeremy, that's all I know for sure. They have been together for four years and during the two years I've known them, I'd say for sure they're made for each other."
"Jeremy and I have hung out a lot and every time we do, he wouldn't end the day without mentioning Naomi or their honeymoon plans."
The maid of honor taps the microphone to make an announcement, her attention shifting to Camila.
