Forrest Branch and Poppy were taking a walk on the mountain. Poppy thought it would be a good way to try get to know Branch's father.
Poppy: So what have you been up to in the mountains?
Forrest: None ya business.
Branch gave him a serious death glare.
Forrest: I mean nothing much.
Poppy: oh okay.
Forrest leaned over to Branch and whispered.
Forrest: Your mum had the same death glare.
Branch: Really?
Forrest: Yep, she only really did it to me and your brothers.
The father and son shared a little giggle. Poppy had no idea what they were laughing about.
Poppy: So Mr Zone you sure there hasn't been any strange activity on the mountain, or anyone else who could've sent a letter of distress?
Forrest: What?! no I've lived on this mountain for twenty years I think I'd know if there was someone else on the mountain.
There was silence for a while.
Forrest: Although there is this little hut on the mountain that I think was built by some other explores, it was abandoned. I didn't move in cause if they came looking for me that would probably be the first place they'd look but a few months ago the was smoke coming from the chimney.
Poppy: You think whoever sent the letter is there.
Branch: Off course my dad didn't write it so it has to be! Dad can you take us there?
Forrest: What you want me a troll who has been isolated for 20 years on the run to come with you to a mysterious hut to save a probably already dead troll.
Poppy: You know the mountain better than anyone.
Branch: Come on dad please...
Branch gave his father the please face and just kept staring at him till he agreed.
Forrest: Fine.
Branch: Yes!
Forrest: Someone has to protect you and who better than your old man. Let's go!
Poppy, Branch and Forrest started climbing up the mountain.
