The breezy air flew through Moon's nose.

'Yes! Moon! We're here!' Cried Kinkajou, a dozen colours flying through her scales in less than a heartbeat. 'Isn't this great? Just as we wanted! A sleepover!'

'A getaway,' Moon mumbles then walks further into the field to find somewhere to maybe stay when it was nighttime. Kinkajou follows on after Moon.

'I can't believe it. A war. And we're here. Away from it all. Brighten up, Moon! Not everyone has this privilege! Most dragons are bleeding and dying or in battles with dripping gashes on their side! Think it, Moon!'

'Uhm, nice visuals?' Moon shivered, thinking about it. Disgusting. Moon wanted to tell the little RainWing that she forgot her skyfire rock, but didn't dare it. She was enjoying herself. And Moon didn't want to ruin it for her RainWing friend.

'Also Moon, it's getting pretty late into the evening, so we'll maybe have to set up soon or, well, we'll be lost while its night and moons know what dragons are out there!' A tiny bit of light green speckled her scales lightly. Moon felt bad for the RainWing, she was already having secret second thoughts about this.

'Yeah, got it.' Moon winced as a cold breeze passed through her scales. Maybe it'd rain soon. Ack, she hated the rain.

Is Moon OK? She seems pained. Annoyed maybe? Does she really want to be here with me?  Kinkajou thought sadly, please, don't be that.

Most of the time now, she had thoughts blocked by the sound of the drizzling rain, but this one was so sad and sincere it broke through her barrier. 'Uhm, uh... I don't really like the rain.'

'Oh, OK.' Kinkajou said, a hint of quiet relief joining her voice in her sigh. 'But uhm, Moon, sorry but it is raining tonight, I can tell by the moisture in the air, and also where are we gonna find somewhere dry to sleep?'

Moon frantically looked around, then a frown burrowed into her face. Moons. She thought angrily in her head. She forgot the RainWing was waiting for an answer. 'Sorry, er, zoned out, but I guess nowhere.'

'Oof.' Kinkajou said, 'And the FACT it's ALMOST NIGHT.' Moon raised an eyebrow, confused by the RainWings sudden loudness on some words, she shrugs and says, 'Sorry, Moon, just checking to see if anyone could hear.'

Moon scrunched up her face, looked around once more, 'I think your good... But moons! It IS almost night, so, let's find somewhere?'

'Sounds good.' The RainWing smiled, 'This is great, Moon, really.'

'Yeah. What an escape from all that's going on.' Moon said serenely.

'AND A BESTIE SLEEPOVER!' Kinkajou said part one.

'Innnnnnn the middle of NOWHERE!' Moon chimed part two.

'Hehe.' Kinkajou says. 1

They searched for a while. Until Kinkajou found a large broken tree. It was late evening, and the sky was becoming a wash of greyish blue. They had to be quick. It was in the middle of the cornfields, which means a dragon must've transported it here. Odd.

'So, add leaves for shelter and we're good?' Moon said, not really wanting to sleep in that. She'd rather have her scales slicked by rain (THOUGH she didn't like it) and listen to the crickets and thunder.

'YEP!' She said enthusiastically, 'Come on! Moon!'

They built and built and built until it was nighttime. 'I'm STARVING, Moon!' Kinkajou whined.

'Maybe we should've had food before we started building?' Moon offered.

'Er, yeah, but whatever I can wait until tomorrow.' Kinkajou says as she curled into a ball underneath the shelter, she mumbled quietly, 'Coming, Moon? Or do you want to be a wet NightWing?'

'Heh, wet NightWing, thanks!' Moon says, 'Night.'

'Night.'

Moon drifted off to sleep until it was all just an uneasy blackness.

They were asleep under a dusky evening sky- Or well, Moon wasn't, and she thought Kinkajou was until she heard a frolicky, playful scream from Kinkajou and her head shot up. She then heard laughter from Kinkajou. She shot a quick glance at the makeshift 'hut' they'd made, she wasn't there, Moon soon realised that she was in the corn stems near where Moon was sleeping. Just further in. She got up and look and found Qibli and Kinkajou playfully rolling around in the thick acre of corn stems.

'What part of a girls only sleepover do you not understand?!' Kinkajou smothered a giggle, her scales an array of colours.

'Uhh, none of it?' Joked Qibli, and Winter emerged from the dry stems, looking frazzled by what, the outdoors, nature? Anything maybe not-so-clean?

'Why here?' He growled coldly.

Moon stopped and started stumbling back after seeing them. Kinkajou told them about this. They're getaway? They're escape? They're sleepover? Well, Moon guessed Kinkajou told them it was a sleepover. But she fell over with a loud crunched and Qibli and Winter noticed her. She winced at the pain, she thought she cut herself on something, but this was so distracting.

They came closer. Qibli's warm, friendly feeling. And Winter's cold, icy state.

'Hi...?' Moon stuttered.

'Hello.' Qibli said happily. Happy to see her, of course. Maybe we he came here. Oh, wait, yes, it is, Moon could tell by his overloaded thoughts- Yes, I get to see Moon! Maybe she can finally call me a friend, I wonder if Winter will do anything to her? Treat her good? Bad? He's not too much of a threat anymore, and Kinkajou is just, her silly, positive little RainWing self.  I will stop anyone from hurting Moon, if she'd like that. Would she? I've thought this over and over but still. Does Winter like her? Or not. That's enough, Qibli, relax, they're your friends.

Moon guessed he also forgot his skyfire.

'Hello.' Winter culled, he was his usual self, with his usual thoughts. But a bit different after the incident with... Everything.  Does Moon think I still hate her? Does she know what I think of her? Urgh, I don't know. What about Qibli? What does she think of him?

HE FORGOT TOO. Why couldn't a peaceful getaway/sleepover be PEACEFUL?

'I gotta dash.' Moon said, rushed. Qibli tried to reach out his arm to stop her, but she literally dashed off. Her own thoughts his time disarming her.

Would Moon have to choose one of them soon? Or would they grow impatient and crawl away from her?
