First, I want to clarify that I do not own any of the original characters, plotlines, or world-building from Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-Kun! All of those belong to their rightful creator, Nishi Osamu. The only thing that is mine in this fanfiction is my original character, Izumi Suzuki, and the changes I’ve made to the plot to accommodate her and the story I want to tell.
Now, about Izumi: she is portrayed as a character with autism. There may be moments in the story where you will see her experience panic attacks, sensory overload, or other behaviors that are common for some individuals on the autism spectrum. As someone with autism myself, I’ve drawn from personal experience to help shape her character. However, it’s important to remember that autism is a spectrum, meaning every autistic person’s experience is different. Izumi’s portrayal is just one perspective, and while I strive to be respectful and accurate, it may not reflect everyone’s experience with autism. Please keep that in mind as you read.

Additionally, I’ve aged up the characters in this story. All of the students, including Iruma and his friends, are 17 years or older, which aligns better with some of the themes and events I want to explore.
