I moaned, waking up to...repeated...flushing? I sat up straight, gripping the large staff by my bed. It was just a wooden rake handle, but it came in handy with my nighttime vertigo...I pushed myself up and made my way to the bathroom, careful to not wake anyone, however, noticing that the Strawberry Blonde haired Daemos, Noi, was asleep on the floor. I frowned, wondering if I should get a sleeping bag down tomorrow, but pushed that aside and followed the sound of the flushing. I knocked on the door and it stopped. The door slowly opened and Rhys' nervous face stared back at me. I frowned, then tried to offer a smile, leaning on my staff. "Are you alright? What's all the noise for?" I asked softly, rubbing one eye. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-" I lifted an eyebrow and motioned him aside. "Did you break something? You're gonna drive up my water bill all on your own y'know." I chuckled weakly, I looked around the bathroom. It seemed fine, nothing was flooded, no sewage, and the toilet was perfectly clean and empty. He watched curiously. "...You good?" I chuckled weakly, rubbing at my eyes again. "I wish to observe how you mix potions." "Uh?" I blinked, surprised. "Oh-No, the toilet isn't for potions, Rhys." I chuckled weakly, amused. "It's not? Then why does the water swirl that way?" "uhh..." I trailed off, unsure how to respond.

"It's a strange thing to explain, frankly. All I know is that the current is used to...dispose of, unwanted bio-chemical waste that living things make." He looked thoughtful, then blinked. "Ah. That's an odd way of going about such a thing." "...You do understand what I mean, right?" I asked clarifyingly. "Yes, you mean when a living thing has to...ahem, go relieve themselves." He said, clearing his throat awkwardly. "At least you understand." I sighed. "I shall inform the others of this object's use in the morning. Oh, right-" he halted back in the doorway and turned back to me. "Should you not be resting?" I chuckled weakly. "I was worried one of you broke the toilet, so I came to fix it before anything else happened, luckily that wasn't the case. However, the adrenaline will make it difficult to go back to sleep." I said. "...Also, I kind of have to use the toilet, so..." I trailed off, summoning my magic staff quickly in place of the wooden one, and he blinked. "Please leave." I said simply. He swiftly turned and scurried out. Okay, I didn't mean to scare him...but...

I looked at my staff, and chuckled weakly, using a small amount of magic to close and lock the bathroom door.

I mumbled, blinking awake a little at sounds around me. I heard stiff gasping and started to turn my heard before a large, gentle hand patted my head. I nodded off slowly again, closing my eyes sleepily, remembering how my dads would do that when I was tired and couldn't sleep. I exhaled slowly, curling up further into myself on my bed, dulling the sounds out and slipping back into a soft, warm, state of rest.

-

Seemingly minutes later, I was woken up by a smug-faced Leif as he lay on his side at the other end of the bed. I shrieked, and punched him in the jaw and kicked him in the stomach. Leif moaned, in a heap on the floor. "OH MY GOD, HOW LONG WERE YOU THERE!?" "Not even a minute...! Jeez, you hit hard..." He moaned, rolling onto his back. "Don't do that! I swear-whoa-" I heaved, vertigo hitting me hard, I clutched the wall and moaned. "I didn't mean to hurt y-Well, actually I did, cuz you were holding a knife, and I thought you were about to stab me but...uhm...I'm sorry." I said, walked over nervously once I felt better. "I was just gonna threaten you awake...jeez." He mumbled, then unhappily taking my hand when I offered to help him up. With ease, I helped him to his feet, and he blinked. "Wow, you really are strong, aren't you?" He chuckled, amused. I blinked, not used to getting compliments on my strength. I chuckled. "Thank you, but Uhm, can you leave so I can change into normal clothes?" "These aren't normal?" He poked my shoulder while looking at my pajamas. "Well, no, these are my pajamas, But that's a valid question." I shrugged.
