Second time a charm

Maxime p.o.v

Today my best friend liam is going to audition at the x factor for the 2nd time and I'm on my way to the payne family house

When I arrive I ring the bell

"Hey maxime come in liam is getting ready "says his mother Karen and steps aside and I walk in and take place on the couch

"Liam maxime is here " calls Karen upstairs

"Yes mum coming "calls liam from upstairs and not much later liam comes down and gives me a hug

"And how do you feel nervous about the audition?" I ask him

"Am not as nervous as the first time " Says liam and I nod my head

"I have something for you "I say and hand him a bracelet and put it on him

"Just braided it myself yesterday " I say

"Will you put it on me?" asks liam and I put it on him

"Nicola made one for you too so you'll always think of me " says liam and ties the other one around my right arm

"Thanks liam "I say and give him a hug

"We have to go" I hear Liam older sister Nicola and give him a hug and then zen leave and then I go home too and see them still waving at me .

Liam p.o.v.

After my audition, I'm unfortunately still not through

And I hear a staff member say

" Would Liam payne, Zayn malik , Niall Horan , Harry styles and Louis Tomlimson please report to the stage ".

And then we walk onto the stage and hear Simon say

"We want you guys to continue as a boy band " says Simon and I give the other guys a hug and then we get to call.

I decide to call my best friend Maxime after calling twice she answers

"Liam how did it go?" asks Maxime to
To me

"Didn't get through as a solo but did get placed in a boyband with 4 other boys" I say and then we chat for a while .

Later in the evening we sit at Harry's house

"What is actually going to be our band name?" I ask the other boys

"I feel like we should go one direction "says zayn the dark boy to me

"Yes one direction "says I

And then the weeks fly by, and now i am on my way back home to suprise my best friend.

"Mom i am back home " i say

"Oh boy i have missed you " my mom says while hugging me

"Where is Maxime by the way?" I ask my mom

"She is at the work and she gets off at 6 " my mom says and i nod my head

"Do i need to make you some food ?" Mom asks me

"No I was planning to take Maxime out for dinner" I say as I put my shoes away and freshen up a bit

" Where does she work anyway?" I ask my mother

" At the local hairdresser's in the market , I just went there this afternoon " Says my mother

and I nod my head , at half past five I say to my mother

" Mum I'm on my way to maxime don't know what time I'll be home " I say

" Okay be careful and liam please ask that girl out " Says my mother

Maxime her mother and father died shortly after each other last year and my mother is like a 2nd mother to maxime , maxime was supposed to be big sister but her sister unfortunately didn't make it either .

When I arrive at the hair salon at the market, maxime sees everything being cleaned and decides to quickly buy another bunch of her favourite flowers

and then I see maxime come out with her colleague and they close the door and go their separate ways

" Liam " She says when she sees me standing and then she jumps into my arms and after a while I let go of her

" How I missed you and these are for you " I say as I give her favourite flowers

" Oh liam I missed you very much too and this shouldn't have been necessary " She says

" Are you hungry?" I ask maxime as I take her bag from her

" Yes a burger with fries , I've been craving that all week " Says maxime and then we walk to our place where we spent during our school days

" How did you actually end up at this job ?" I ask maxime as we sit at our little table

" My aunt is the boss of that hair salon and if I ever want to I can take over the hair salon from her " Says maxime as she looks at the menu

" How long have I not seen you both , for you both the same thing you always took when you were here ?" Asks the woman to us

" Yes please Emily " I say and then she writes it down and I try to stay calm

" Hey I will come with your parents and sisters to the final of the x factor to encourage you and if you win you can take me out

" And suppose we don't win may I still take you out?" I ask her

" Sure even if you lose you'll always be my number 1 " Says Maxime and then our food arrives

" Bon appetite " We say together.

Maxime p.o.v.

i'm really dumbfounded that liam is standing right in front of me with my favourite flowers

" Is that the boy you are so madly in love with?" my aunt asks as we walk out and lock the lounge

" Yes that's him but I'm waiting for him to make the first move " I say as I put the key away

" You better girl " Says my aunt and then I walk up to him and jump into his arms, and then he takes my bag from me

and we walk to the diner where we spent during break from our school days, or I more liam only half finished his school .

After dinner liam walks me home

" Why don't you stay the night with us ?" Asks liam to me

" I can't yet liam , sorry " I say and then i close the door behind me and get ready for bed
