When We Where 16

My Girl

Liam p.o.v

When we arrive at the beach , we still have 20 minutes before the sun goes without, when I turn off the engine and walk to maxime's side and open the door for her

" Where are we liam ?" Asks maxime to me

" You'll see in a minute " I say and then close the car behind me and lead maxime to the spot

when we get to the spot I count down and take off the blindfold at 3 and maxime blinks her eyes a few times

" Oh Liam this is so romantic " Says maxime as she takes a seat on the blanket

" Just wait I have even more planned for tonight " I say as I pour maxime a glass of her favourite wine and open a beer for me and then I explain what snacks we are having

After a while I say

" Look the sun is about to go without " I say and grab maxime's phone and film the sunset

" I would love to see the sun rise so early one day and watch the sunrise " Says maxime and comes to sit closer to me

After the sun went down we finished our drinks and packed our stuff and put it in the back of the car and drove home

Maxime p.o.v.

Liam and I walked into mine backyard where he had a blanket with my favourite foods and a movie projector set up. I was so amazed I almost didn't see the thing of roses with a note attached. I pick up the note and read it.

"Do you wanna know something? I like you, I like you a lot more than I've liked anyone for as long as I lived, the way I feel for you is rare. To be honest it kinda scares me cause I don't wanna lose you, I don't want to screw up what we have, that to be completely honest I don't know what it is, but I've fallen so damn hard for you and I hope whatever happens, it doesn't ruin what we had before... all this. The truth is that I fucking love you and I've never in my life felt like this, where I smile when I see your face or hear your voice. I love you so much I can't wait till I can say that looking in your eyes, I can't wait for the day I fall asleep in your arms, I can't wait for the day we can cuddle all night watching long movies, I can't wait for the night we have blankets in your backyard or somewhere just to look at the stars while cuddling. The truth is... I'm in love with you. Will you be my girlfriend?"

""yes Liam I want to be your girlfriend "I say to Liam and Liam comes closer and presses a kiss to my lips

"Yeah " I hear familiar voices say and then we look up for a moment and see no one but I know his parents have been sitting there

And then we sit down on an air mattress and Liam puts a blanket over us and we start our film Marathon

"Baby will you hand me the m&m 's? "I ask him

"Sure baby "says Liam and hands me the container with the m&m' s and I snuggle closer to him and feel him place kisses on my forehead .

Karen Payne p.o.v.

We sit from Liam's old room watching the 2 teenagers in love , and so we have a perfect view of maxime's garden where the date took place

And then I hear her say

"Yes Liam I want to be your girlfriend "Says maxime and then we are a bit too loud and duck away and then my husband says

"Shall we just leave them alone?" Asks me

"Yes is good I will make some tea "says I and walk to the kitchen and make some tea.

When we have finshed out tea and Geoff is watching some  soccer and not much later the door opens and we see the two love birds walking inside

" Mum, dad we have news" says Liam as maxime disappears down his neck

" What's the news then boy ?" Asks Geoff to his son

" Maxime and I are boyfriend and girlfriend from today " Says liam as Maxime gives a kiss

" Some nice news huh " Says I and Geoff and I give them both a big hug

" Welcome to the family girl, your mother also would have been very happy for you if she could witness this moment " I whisper in Maxime's ear

" Thanks Karen " Says Maxime as she gives a hug.

Suddenly I get a brilliant idea and I get out of bed very gently and put on one of liam's jumpers and walk downstairs and see karen already making a cup of tea and then I make some pancake mix and then make some pancakes and some fresh fruit

" Well he would really like that breakfast in bed and I feel 2 arms around my waist

" Would you please go back to bed I have a surprise for you " I say to liam

and then liam disappears and I finish my breakfast and then walk upstairs with the full tray and walks the

Maxime p.o.v

Today I'm feeling a bit sad , Liam is leaving for London today to work on their first album , luckily I'm allowed to wake up next to him one more time today

"Oh honey that shouldn't have been necessary "Liam says to me as he gives me a kiss and then I sit down opposite him and we eat breakfast.

After breakfast, Liam is packing up his things  and i steal a sweater or two because they smell like him

"Baby Hey you are coming to visit right soon ?" Liam asks me

"Yeah with relase party of your guys first album , but i am happy we get to spend time together before you have to leave me " I say .

"Hey i am not leaving you , i am going to live on the other side of the world and one day you will be living with me there we are get married and have kids "  Liam says

And when Liam is finished time to head to the airport , when we arrive there Liam gets his suitcase out of the car and walks towards his gate.

And we give eachother a long kiss and then he is gone.
