Maurice, "All I am going to say is when your emotions are that high, it's possible to do irrational ass shit! It's time to be rational about the whole situation! Focus on your business, money, and kids! Fatima will be back around before you know it!"
Zac had considered everything Maurice and Dani told him, and he realized they were right! Most of his life he acted off of impulse! Now was the time for him to go with the flow and allow the chips to fall where they may! He allowed his kids to play for a little while longer and then they headed home! When they arrived, he bathed them and made them dinner before going to shower! When he got out, they were done eating and almost asleep at the table! He cleaned them and the kitchen up before going to place them into their bed! As he walked past Fatima's room, he couldn't help but want to sleep in her bed! When he opened the door, he seen two letters lined up on the bed! They were addressed to him, Kairyn, and Kali!
Zac opened his letter and began to read, "All my life I have looked up to you! I have admired your strength and resilience in tough situations and the amount of love and care you have for your family! I swear meeting you and becoming friends was the best thing that could have ever happened to me all those years ago! Somewhere on our journey, we fell in love with one another! You do not have to tell me you're in love with me because I know, even if I did miss all the signs! Zac you are a wonderful man, and I pray my absence during this time does not make you think any less of yourself! The idea of us being more than friends scares tf out of me! The fact that you could love me past my flaws and imperfections scares me! I am not saying that I don't want this but what I am saying is I need a moment to situate my emotions around it! The sex was breath taking and it honestly caused my emotions to shift because I have never experienced something so exhilarating! Although I will miss you, just know I will always be around and if you need me, I'll be there with bells and whistles on! I love you big head! XOXO, T!"
Zac wiped his face and laid back on the bed, "Damn I am scared to! I just wish we could've conquered our fears together instead of apart!" He waddled around in her bed for a little while and just as he was about to get up Kairyn and Kali walked in!
Zac, "I thought you both were asleep!"
Kairyn, "We were daddy but at night we sneak in here and sleep with Teedy!"
Zac was shocked because he didn't know that but it actually made more sense because Fatima always had them up and ready before he was even out of the bed!
Kali, "Can we sleep in here tonight?"
Zac looked at the look on his kids faces and agreed! He pulled the covers back and they all snuggled in together before drifting off to sleep!
