We cut to both D-16 and Orion sitting inside a small room, both looking discouraged and disappointed.

D-16: Agh! Scrap, that stings.

Orion: What did you expect, he's made out of metal.

D-16: You know, you were out of line talking to a superior like that.

Orion: Darkwing was out of line treating Elita like that.

D-16: So, you decided to play the "protective boyfriend" card, even for some gal who barely wants anything to do with you?

Orion: Elita didn't deserve that. Okay? And she didn't deserve to get fired. It should've been us.

D-16: Personally, I'm grateful we weren't. Look, Orion, we have a system -

Orion: And it's scrap! Aren't you tired of feeling like you're just...this useless hunk of junk. Aren't you tired of being seen as nothing, when there is a deep part of you inside telling you that you could be more?

D-16 stayed silent, thinking about Orion's question. Sure, he once dreamed he could be more...but that was a long time ago. He's changed since then.

D-16: He had every right to hit me. I interfered.

Orion softened his look, as he then smiles, placing his hand on his friend's shoulder.

Orion: Hey. I appreciate you having my back. I'm glad you were there with me to, uh...get punched in the face. It was fun.

D-16 shares a small laugh with Orion, before fist-bumping him.

D-16: Anytime.

Ratchet: Alright, you two can come on now.

D-16 and Orion both enter the room to see Jazz lying down on a bed, after having a new leg attached to his body. He smiled at the sight of his too saviours.

Jazz: Hey! Orion and Dee.

D-16: What's up man?

Orion: How are you holding up.

Jazz: Better. Doc was able to attach a new leg to my body.

Ratchet: He's still recovering from surgery, so it will be a while before he heads back to work.

Orion: Thanks, Doc.

Ratchet: Well, if anything, we're grateful that you of all people are reckless and rebellious enough to break protocol and get our friend out of there in time...even though it was a stupid decision.

Orion: Was that a compliment or an insult?

Ratchet: (smirks)...Bit of both.

Orion looks offended, while Jazz and Dee smirk at him.
