Heyyy... sorry for not updating earlier, alot of things irl happened and I'm just gonna say, the ao3 author curse is real. In the span of writing chapters, I had a tooth problem, got sick AFTER I came back from the motherland, got an ear infection, power outage, and survived several storms. Other things, mostly good, happened, but I can't remember rn. I got into drawing now so I might do art while writing future chapters now, its fun being a beginner artist :3 Anyways, to make up for the delay, you guys get a double upload! WOAH AMAZING! LUCHA YOU'RE SO GENEROUS!! Thank you thank you, I know. Alright, hope you enjoy this chapter :D

"Oh man! Did you see the look on those guys' faces when I crushed them in that battle today?"

Boyfriend smirked, still recalling the events that happened earlier today where he went to another dimension and cooked some weird-looking people in another rap battle. One was a girl who was in a jester costume, and the other was a rabbit guy with a permanent smile on his face in suspenders. It was originally just the girl he was singing against, until that purple rabbit barged in mid-song for some reason. Boyfriend was slightly caught off-guard, but he and his cockiness were up for the challenge, and he still won. Besides, after every rap battle he's done so far, he's not even surprised anymore when something happens "unexpectedly" midway. Still, he would keep his cool and keep going until he won.

"It was so funny." Boyfriend snickered as he adjusted his sage green jacket. He would've just wore his iconic prohibition shirt if it wasn't starting to get colder at night.

"Bee, I wasn't even there. None of us were." Pico said bluntly, walking alongside the blue-haired boy, the setting sun beaming down on his bright ginger hair. With Darnell and Nene walking in front of them, the group had gone down the sidewalk, away from the restaurant they just had a late lunch at. Boyfriend could still feel the annoyance he felt when they argued non-stop at the table about what fast food meant, whether it was sandwiches, fried chicken, or hamburgers. He didn't get to fully enjoy the slice of pizza he ordered with them arguing over something so dumb the entire time. Though it eventually got too loud, and they got their time cut in half by the manager to finish eating and then leave. While the others were arguing over their choice of fast food, he wasn't given a chance to say his choice, and he was completely fine with that. Boyfriend didn't dare say fast food meant donuts, he was sure Nene would've stabbed him then and there.

"I- Ok, fuck you dickhead." Boyfriend rolled his eyes and turned away from his partner, sticking the finger up at him. The blue-haired boy would never admit to making a mistake in his knowledge, at least not fully, which is most likely due to embarrassment. With being so confident in his skills, of course Boyfriend wouldn't admit defeat unless he was completely proven in the wrong. And when that did happen, he would just give an awkward smile and silently agree afterwards. Although almost everyone who knew him knew that he was as dumb as a rock anyway, so most didn't bother with proving the young adult wrong, especially for small things. Yet they were unsure if Boyfriend knew he himself was dumb...probably not.

He turned his nose up at Pico, pretending to ignore him, though he did casually sneak glances at the ginger to be sure he was still there next to him. "Really? You're gonna pull the offended card?" Pico deadpanned, clearly showing disbelief in his boyfriend's upset attitude. And Pico was correct. Boyfriend liked to act dramatic sometimes for jokes, so it was obvious that he wasn't being serious with his partner at all right now.

The blue-haired boy scoffed, hiding a playful smile in his expression. "Yes, I am, for..uh.. killing the vibe and ruining my story." Stifling his laugh, he continued to play the upset character with his ginger-haired boyfriend, just to mess with him a little. "Please, I didn't ruin your fucking story. You know it, I know it, so cut the shit." Pico huffed as he glanced at him, a slight annoyance in his tone at the overexaggerated show walking next to him. Though, Boyfriend was sure he saw a flash of a small smile on Pico's freckled face for a second, but it was gone before he could truly see what it was.
