3rd Person's POV:

Avery followed the winding path that led deeper into the forest, each step resonating with a mixture of hope and trepidation.

The air grew cooler, and the scents of pine and damp earth filled her senses, grounding her as memories flickered just out of reach. She could almost hear the voices of the trees, their ancient wisdom brushing against her mind, urging her forward.

It is somewhat weird why there is a small house built deep within the forest.

As she came closer to the house, she noticed it looks abandoned for who knows when.

She slowly opened the door knob, contrary to what the outside looks, the inside was still decent.

It looks like someone lived here before.

There are still things that are useful. A small sofa, kitchette on the left side, and a twin bed on the right side. A torch was also hanging on the inside of the main door, not that she necessarily need to lit it up to see the inside of the house.

I might need to take a rest, and just continue my journey tomorrow. Isip-isip niya.

She could just continue tomorrow, when the sun rises up again. For now, she will rest, not that
her deep slumber from waking up in the forest was not enough for her.

She used these to change the old ones. She also used the cleaning materials that she saw on the side. After almost an hour, she sat down on the bed, slowly drifting off to slumber.

As the sun rises, she woke up from the birds chirping on the window. She then remembered that she haven't eaten anything since waking up yesterday, when she felt a grumble of her stomach.

She needs to eat. That she know of.

She went to check the other cabinets for things she can bring and use while continuing her journey to the unknown. She realized that a woman was also the one who lived here before, seeing some long dresses left in the cabinets.

She took three that she might used, noting that she also need to take a bath to freshen herself up. Softly saying her thanks to the previous owner of the clothes and the house she stayed in for the night.

Feeling energized for another day, she went out to continue walking towards the distant mountain.

Each breath she took was infused with the rich scent of earth and foliage, nag-uugat sa kanya sa isang mundong puno ng buhay.

In the forest, she felt powerful yet at peace, as if the very air hummed her with magic.

After a few hours of walking, she was already on the foot of the mountain that the forest felt like urging her to go. Even at the entrace of it, iba ang pakiramdam dito mula sa gubat na pinanggalingan niya.

It was not as lively and lucious like the greenery path I took. It is still enchanting, somehow darkly enchanting.

But she was determined, like the forest was urging her to go here. She couldn't help but to frown that maybe she's just hallucinating. Like why would she feel like the forest was talking to her?

With a couple of deep sighs, she continued walking. Determined to uncover the truth, she ventured into the Bloodstone Mountain. The atmosphere shifted immediately, the air grew heavier, the light dimmed.

Trees with twisted trunks loomed overhead, their leaves shimmering in hues of crimson and midnight. A soft mist curled around her feet, and the silence was broken only by the distant call of a creature unseen.

As she walked deeper, the beauty of the Bloodstone Mountain was undeniable, yet it was a beauty tinged with danger.

It was then she felt it—a presence watching from the trees. Her instincts flared, urging her to flee, but curiosity rooted her in place.

Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows. Tall and imposing, Azrael, the vampire king, stepped into the fading light, his presence commanding and fierce. His eyes glinted like molten gold, piercing through the twilight. Avery's breath caught in her throat, a mix of fear and an inexplicable pull towards him.

"Who are you?" he demanded, his voice like silk wrapped around steel.
