*Time skip. One week later-evening*
Izuku's pov
It has been a week since our encounter with Inko.
Y'all are probably wondering what happened so I'm gonna try and make it as short as possible.
Basically, she called out to us so we naturally turned around to face her. I honestly have no idea why we didn't just ignore her and continue walking, but since we did, I guess there was no turning back now.
She asked me why I didn't answer her text's and when I didn't reply to her question she started yelling and insulting me, well, us.
I feel Hito getting angry and wanting to say something back to her, but I knew that, that would be a big mistake and would cost us, me, more problems, so I squeezed his hand signalling not to do anything.
I noticed with the corner of my eye him looking at me with an expression that said 'Are you serious right now?', but I ignored it and thought of ways to get out of this situation. Which was hard, cause I've been with this person my entire life and know what she's capable of.
I asked what she wanted from me and instead of saying her answer she shoved a check in my face.
Me and Shin were both confused by this kind of an action so I took the check and looked it over.
My eyebrows raised up and my eyes widened when I saw what the check said. There was a very big number written and I'm talking thousands. I released that she was asking me to pay her back for everything she has done for me and I literally almost started laughing out loud. She must be kidding.
Okay, the first three years of my life were amazing. I was a happy innocent child. But everything after that was a nightmare, and the best part about it all was, that it wasn't even my fault that I was announced quirkless. Why did I have to suffer like that for something that I can't control?
I told her that it was bullshit and that I wasn't going to pay her shit. All she gave me was trauma, anxiety, depression and I think I also have adhd, but I'm not 100% sure, thou.
All the stuff I have, the things in my room and my phone and other stuff like that, is because I used worked at some random cafes and diners that would allow a child work there, not sure why they even did that but I guess I'm thankful they did, just so I could afford to buy myself something. I can't believe that when I got my first money I even thought of giving it to mo- Inko, thinking that she would be happy and proud of me, but luckily I didn't. I guess I somehow knew that, those were just my dreams that would never come true.
So instead of giving her anything, I tore up the check and threw it in her face. I then grabbed Hito's hand, turned around and we went back to the dorms.
Ever since that day I haven't heard anything from her.
Oh and something else happened that I didn't expect to. Jiro and Kami got together and they actually are quite cute together. But there's no progress in Kiri's and Kuji relationship, unfortunately.
This week we trained some more and I think that we're ready to become vigilantes. Kuji just needs some more, or a lot, training in controlling her quirk, but she does show her progress in fighting with other weapons instead of her katana. She even managed to cut Hito in his left shoulder. But she didn't mean to actually cut him, I hope, at least that's what she said.
We had to go to the recovery girl and let me tell you something, she was not happy to find out that Kuji was at fault again. She said that the wound was nothing serious and he got another hit from her cane. He said that, that was the last time that he would go to her. I doubt that.
