Now for as long as I can remember I have always been fascinated by Japanese culture, and that's not because I watch a lot of anime. So turn off the lights, grab a blanket and get ready.
1. Kuchisake Onna
Kuchisake Onna, also known as The Slit- Mouth Woman, is a well known Japanese urban legend about a disfigured Japanese woman who brandishes large scissors and preys on children. She has an enormous slit-mouth, which extends from ear to ear in a horrible permanent smile.(A/N: anyone else think about Jeff the killer or Joker... No just me ok .) Kuchisake walks the streets of Japan wearing a surgical mask, which isn't uncommon in Japan when a person is sick and does not wish for others to get sick as well; but the second thing she does is hunt for children. If you cross her path, she will stop and ask you a question, but when is just answering questions a ghost asked you easy. Okay so Rp time, your walking down the street just got out of school and you walk past this alleyway, but before you can walk past it completely you hear a woman call out. You turn towards the voice and she a woman wearing a surgical mask and wearing w brown trench coat, you walk over cause she looks like she needs help. When you get within arms length of her she says "Am I beautiful?" Do you say yes or no? For the people that said no you get your head chopped off (ouch) for the people that said yes she throws her mask off to reveal a horrible sight and then she will ask you again "Am I beautiful?" (Now if you ask me it seems like this lady has a lot of problems maybe she has nothing better to do than stop random kids. Oh you didn't ask me ... Well I'm sorry I'll just be in a corner crying .) If you said yes she cuts your face so you both look like twins now, but all is not lost their is always a hidden answer somewhere. Well in this case a lot of answers anyway. There is one story that says if you tell her you are really busy she will excuse her self. Another says if you ask her if you are beautiful or if you say she looks so-so you will confuse her long enough for you to escape.
