I don't know if it could be called love at first sight. When I first laid eyes on her tying that blue belt around her waist, what I felt could more easily be classified as intimidation. But I do tell you the truth: by the end of the night, I was in love. More than I ever thought I could be.

I'm not sure how I didn't notice her during the first half of the training session. Perhaps my eyes did not think they were worthy. She had the thick fortitude of a barbaric warrior, and the puissant curves of a Greek goddess. She was considerably taller than me, and had to weigh at least double that of my own body weight. I had never seen a cougar like her. And all of it seemed to perfectly coalesce at the top of her broad shoulders to her face, like colored beams of like combining in a prism to form one perfect white line. She was beautiful, and that's all anyone could have said. It pains me that there are no words in the English language to describe her.

Upon first seeing her, I was disheartened. I believe there is such a thing as too beautiful. There is a kind of beauty which a man can see, and instantly understand that such a perfect thing could not exist in this imperfect world, and has no choice but to resign to fantasy. Someone like her, so commandingly gorgeous, had no business with a scrawny Dalmatian like me. Even if she could be attracted to a skinny dog like me, her luscious undercut, the color of white gold, made me presume that she was a lesbian.

Oh well. Someone somewhere was blessed enough to have her.

I felt a deer hoof bump me in the shoulder, and I realized that I didn't know how long I had been staring at her. "You're gonna catch flies in your mouth," said Basil, and he grinned at me. I awkwardly took a swig of water from my bottle. The coldness helped me return to reality.

"I was just taking a drink," I said half defensively

"Uh huh," said Basil. "Taking a drink, alright. But it sure as hell ain't water."

"Shut the fuck up," I said, and we both laughed.

Coach Hvbble stepped onto the mat and said, "Alright, everyone. Time for rolls! Eight minutes on the clock." He set the clock for eight minutes, and I set down my water bottle. Seemingly instantly, it seemed that everybody had already found a partner. Even Basil had begun squaring up with Jul. There was nobody else, except for her. And she was walking right toward me.

"Maybe now you can get a closer look," she said. I couldn't tell if she was teasing me, or accusing me of being a creep.

I swallowed a mouth of dryness, and said, "You wanna fight?"

She put her hands on her wide hips, and chuckled. "Oh ho! So that's how it's gonna be, huh?" She grinned at me with malice, and I felt that she could see the nervousness on my face.

The clock beeped, and we squared up. Due to our size difference, I couldn't find an easy opportunity to pass her guard and gain control. Any move I could make would have me down on the ground and her on top of me. Perhaps that wouldn't be such a bad thing...

"Come on! Show me what you got, big boy!" She called me "big boy." To this day, I cannot tell you why that affected me the way that it did, but I simply felt my heart stop, then melt. I must've shown it on my face, because she followed with a smile that was so tender and full of love. I couldn't remember the last time someone looked at me that way. In that instant, I knew I wanted to lose.

I grabbed the label of her uniform, and she quickly grabbed my wrist. Before I could process what was happening, I found myself ass-over-ears, then suddenly flat on my back. All of my breath was forced out of me with a loud "UMPH!" To say it was euphoric would be an understatement. I couldn't move for a moment. I was still trying to catch my breath and my mind, when suddenly she sat right down on my hips, and had me locked in a full mount. She smiled at me again, and that malicious sparkle was back in her eyes. "You like that, don't you, big boy?"
