months had gone by with,michael and seven other felons escaped with the help of lauren,lauren had overdosed and charged with seven years but her father bailed her out only lauren had to go to a shrink and met a friend but her father said that he could not be trusted so she went to see him only to find a rope around sara and her fathers neck,LJ had been charged of the murders of his mother and stepfather whilst emily was placed with a foster family.
emily was on her way to school with two friends when she spotted LJ with a man "LJ"emily shouted running to him "oh my god"LJ said softly picking her up "i missed you so much"LJ added "i missed you too"emily replied "wanna get some ice cream"LJ asked as the state gave him ten bucks whilst she nodded.

lauren started to call bruce on a pay phone after someone tried to kill her "bruce i need your help"lauren asked panting "lauren?"bruce questioned "bruce sara and my father didn't commit suicide okay"lauren said quickly "ok just calm down where are you"bruce asked "he was looking into the burrows case and i think he found something that they didn't want him to know and now i think that they think that i know it too"lauren said looking at her surroundings "alright i want you to listen to me i'm going to send someone over to pick you up i'll bring you back here and we'll sort all of this out i promise"bruce replied.
"just tell me where you are"he asked "um i don't know i'm at a pay phone, third on harper"lauren replied seeing a street sign "do you have your cell incase i need to reach you"he asked "uh i do but i thought it would be tapped i don't know"lauren said shakily "alright someone's on their way just stay right where you are"bruce replied "thank you"lauren said before putting the phone down.
whilst lauren waited she looked over to see the women at the pay phone get shot as she rushed over she told some other civilians to call 911 whilst she tried to put pressure until there was no pulse.

once LJ and emily had finished their ice cream a homeless man walked over to them asking for change "mind sparing some change"he asked "no i'm all tapped out"LJ replied shrugging whilst emily stared at the man "i know you got something i'll take whatever you got"he added not going away "seriously i just got out of lock up i would if i could"LJ snapped back softly emily and LJ then got up starting to walk away when the homeless man began to attack LJ.
after LJ got stitches emily and him were just waiting in the room when they heard the door shut making them look behind seeing their dad "how you kids doing"lincoln asked walking in "daddy"emily said running into his arms crying whilst LJ joined in the hug "we've got to move"lincoln said before gently kissing their heads.
"let me get this straight you paid that meth head to whoop my ass"LJ asked once they were on the road "yep,feds were waiting for me to come get you it was the only way to get the both of you,it worked didn't it"lincoln explained "yeah got me four stitches"LJ chuckled "i've been in a few fights in my day too"lincoln added passing LJ a cooler filled with ice.
"how you feeling"lincoln asked emily looking at her through the rear view mirror "good and tired"emily replied softly "i'm a target kids as long as you're with me so are you things get a whole lot worse before they get better understand"lincoln added looking at the two "but after we meet up with uncle mike and get to panama"LJ said before getting cut off "panama ain't a sure thing your uncles plan is dangerous i mean really dangerous"lincoln interrupted.
"listen, all the charges against you have been dropped you're free and clear to start a new life a good life not constantly running looking over your shoulder"lincoln added "you want us to leave?"emily asked softly "no"lincoln said softly rubbing emily's head "good cause we're not"LJ added.
after a while lincoln and emily were waiting in the car whilst LJ got some food "no more stops until we get to new mexico"lincoln said once LJ got in the car until a girl knocked on the window "you forgot your change"she said with a big smile handing him his money "yeah,thanks"LJ replied before rolling up the window "keep walking"lincoln repeated until she turned around "damn it"he added before she ran in.
"you don't have to ditch the car we can keep driving"LJ said once they were back on the road "can't the waitress made me in the car it's useless"lincoln replied "sorry you know maybe we can find another car"LJ suggested "cars don't grow on trees silly"emily interrupted "and we've got 400 miles to go and no way getting there we don't get to michael in time they're going to leave without us"lincoln added "uncle mike wouldn't do that"LJ said "he doesn't have a choice it's a one shot deal out of the country"lincoln replied "i said i was sorry"LJ added.
the sun started to set whilst the three made their way on foot "i saw you checking out those girls at the diner"lincoln said starting conversation "no i was just making sure that they weren't staring at us"LJ replied "with what their asses,beautiful girls in panama they love americans"lincoln added "cool"LJ said softly "what about you how's school got any friends"lincoln asked picking emily up "it's okay,i've got a best,best friend"emily said smiling "oh yeah what's her name"he asked softly "dede"emily replied "franklin?"lincoln questioned "yeah, how did you know"emily asked surprised "i know her dad"lincoln replied.
