I was sitting in my chair, lost in thoughts of Ruhi. I knew that there was nothing to be found about her, but her mother and father could tell me what happened in the past. I called Veer into my room.
"Veer, I need information about Ms. Aarohi Goenka and Neil Birla," I said, my expression stern, while Veer just nodded and went to get the file.
As he was getting the files, I started doing my office work and focused completely on it. After a while, Veer came back with a file, and I opened it. Finally, I got to know something.
Dr. Aarohi Goenka is one of the renowned cardiologists. It is interesting to know about Aunty, the youngest daughter of the Goenka family and a single mother to Ruhi.
"Wow, she was strong! That's why Ruhi has this attitude; it's in her genes," I said, looking at the file. I read more about her, and her mother was really an amazing person.
She ran away with Neil Birla and married him in quite a unique style, I said, and read further. Her accident was caused by her own sister. I was shocked reading this.
As I read further, her family was giving me surprises. How can she live in such a family? Her Massi left with her children, and Ruhi's maternal grandparents took care of her. But when Akshara Goenka's daughter returned, they abandoned Ruhi in a second. Seriously, it's better not to have a family at all.
I was looking at Ruhi's daughter, and my heart ached seeing the pain Ruhi has gone through. I don't know why, but my heart ached each second hearing about Ruhi's story. But now she is happy to have a family like this. I don't know why, but I am drawn to her more and more.
Ruhi Birla, you are driving me crazy! And remember, if I fall for you, no one has the right to come near you. No one means no one! I said, looking at her photo. It was already 4 AM, and I was waiting for when she would arrive so I could meet her. I thought in my mind, and I want to meet her. I don't know why, but I want to meet her as soon as possible.
Rishi's POV Ends
It was almost 8 in the morning. Ruhi was roaming worriedly here and there.
"Dida, why did you make me wear this saree?" asked Ruhi, looking at Manjari, who smiled.
"Ruhi, today is pooja, and I want you to wear traditional attire. Look, you are looking like a princess in this saree. Your would-be husband and love would be so happy to see you like this," said Manjari with a smile, while tears appeared in Ruhi's eyes as she remembered her past. Manjari realized what she had said.
"Ruhi, I am sorry. I really didn't mean that," said Manjari, caressing Ruhi's hair while Ruhi smiled gently.
"Maybe that's my destiny, and we can't change destiny. Dida, my Matashree also had the same destiny, and I have the same destiny," said Ruhi, looking at Manjari.
"Matashree also didn't receive the love of her life. When she married Papa, she lost him in just a few months. And look at me; the person I loved left me at the altar. He also claimed to love me. It's okay; I am used to it," said Ruhi, looking at Manjari before leaving from there.
"Ruhi, this isn't your fault. Maybe my and Neil's karma is on you. My son left Aarohi at the altar, and Neil helped him. Now you are my family's daughter, and you had the same situation. Now I can understand this feeling better because you are my daughter, and Aarohi was no one to us except for being our daughter-in-law," said Manjari, her voice low and her heart filled with pain as she looked in Ruhi's direction. Her heart was filled with sorrow.
She looked at the mandir, joined her hands, and spoke softly, her voice filled with sincerity. "Please, God, bring someone into Ruhi's life who can love her to any extent and doesn't leave her for someone else; someone who can burn those people who caused pain to my daughter."
While Mahima came and placed her hand softly on Manjari's shoulder, she said, "I know, Manjari. There will surely be someone who will love Ruhi more than himself, who can go to any extent for our Ruhi. I know that person has entered Ruhi's life," said Mahima, her voice echoing in the room.
As they both were talking, their words had another level of spark-a spark of pain, the reason for them to be the cause of the pain. They talked, and everyone settled near the temple. The pooja started, and everyone was praying to God.
"Please, God, bring someone into our lives so that our Ruhi could have all the happiness she lost back-all the happiness she deserves in her life. Please, God, bless her life with all the joy and happiness," said Mahima in her mind, her voice filled with all the love and care for Ruhi while she smiled for a while, looking at Ruhi.
Manjari and others also wished for Ruhi and hoped for a happy life ahead while Ruhi also prayed.
"God, you brought all the pain into my life and bore it all without complaints, but now I won't be able to tolerate any more pain. I want all the happiness in my life, and I want my entire family to be blessed with a happy life. Please bless everyone with happiness," said Ruhi in her mind, her eyes closed, her voice echoing in her mind with love and care.
