Chapter 9: Trip to Imperium

Sorry it took a while but here's chapter 9 have fun!

Before...

"Nice! Group trip! Packing my bags." Kai said excitedly and starts to pack. "No. We need you to protect the Monastery and Ninjago. What if there are more MergeQuakes?" Lloyd said telling Kai not to go. "Fine. You go have all the fun." Kai said looking a bit disappointed. "Don't worry Kai I'm not going to." Boboiboy said trying to cheer him up. "So we're going?" Arin asked. "Against my better judgment, we're going." Lloyd responded. "Yeah! Going to be-" Arin said but is cut off by him punching himself in the face again with Sora smiling but her smile instantly turn into a frown.

Everyone split up after that with Arin, Sora, and Lloyd in the living room to discuss plans and Kai and Boboiboy in Boboiboy's room to do a little talking.

"So I'm thinking we can't just walk into Imperium." Sora said thinking of a plan. "Why not? It's how we go to most places." Arin asked. "I'm guessing we're wanted criminals there. I once knew someone who was arrested for singing off-key, so I think actively fighting the Claw Hunters puts us on their "Do Not Enter" list. except for Ollie, I guess since of course he used a disguise during the battle." Sora replied. "It's a highly secure kingdom. There are guards at every checkpoint making sure only the right people are allowed in." Lloyd continued explaining more about imperium while Arin was playing fetch with a can and got an idea.

"But who's checking what comes out of Imperium?" Arin said "Huh?" Lloyd asked not understanding what Arin just said. "Waste. Garbage. There's gotta be a sewage system that they aren't checking." Arin explained. "That's brilliant, Arin! I guarantee the sewers won't have any security." Sora agreed and they all started preparing to go.

The three of them went to the entrance of Imperium's sewage system. They entered but did not expect something to come until a bunch of drones attacked them after they activated the security system. 

"I was wrong!" Sora screamed out running and jumping avoiding the drone's attack. They make it to a ladder and Arin and Sora climb up with Lloyd joining soon after he shoots one of them with his elemental power.

After they climbed up the ladder they seemed to be in a hallway. "Shh. Like I was hoping, this tunnel led right into the Security Station. I'll hack into the system, make us ID cards, gain access to the Advanced Systems Lab, and boom! Destroy the Photac. Come on!" Sora said explaining the plan to both of them. They all tried to walk towards the door but were stopped by Sora seeing a guard passing by them. The guard kept walking but didn't notice them and they all breathed a sigh of relief.

They entered the Security Station and Sora started to hack it but they saw someone approaching on a screen and Sora began to hack faster. "Someone's coming. Hurry. I need your fake names for the IDs." Sora said asking for a fake name. "Fake names? Um ... Doctor ... Lampshade ... Floortile!" Arin said after finding inspiration from items around the room. "Your undercover name is Dr. Lampshade Floortile?" Sora asked a bit confused by the name Arin gave. "Yeah." Arin replied reassuring him of his name. "Call me Doyll Donmagar." Lloyd said looking proud. "That's with two L's?" Sora asked. "Obviously." Lloyd replied.   

Sora finished their IDs but Lloyd noticed something in Sora's ID. ""Sora"? You used your real name?" Lloyd asked but Sora just dragged him away. "Uh, we gotta go!" Sora said dragging them away to the nearby changing room. 

"Hurry up and put these on. We need to look like real Imperian citizens." Sora said after she found some clothes in the lockers and telling them to put them on. "You are a real Imperian." Arin replied. "We need to fit in. That's all people in Imperium care about." Sora explained. "Absolutely. Stealth is key." Lloyd said returning with his imperium outfit while Sora just looks at his hat. "It was in the locker, so I imagine the Empress approved it?". Lloyd replied. "Ugh. She never had good taste." Sora replied.
