Khorvaire, a continent lost in war for almost a century. A land of steel and magic intertwined. Once united under the mighty kingdom of Galifar, the nation's now stand divided, weary from a conflict known as "The Last War" This war fractured the continent, pitting old allies against one another, and led to the rise of powerful, independent nations. Yet, amid the ruins of this war-torn land, another force looms—a catastrophe so great that it threatens to reshape the world.
At the heart of this fractured land are the 12 Dragonmarked Houses, ancient families imbued with magical abilities by the mysterious Dragonmarks, which grant them powers tied to commerce, communication, travel, and warfare. These houses wield incredible influence, controlling everything from transportation to healing. Amassing armies amidst the war.
This story is very deeply inspired by my own DnD campaign set in this world, but I wanted to share it with others!
