Y/n's POV:

"So we need to take a boat?" I asked, not amused. Kakashi Sensei nodded and I sighed. „Great." It was foggy and Kakashi Sensei paid some random dude to steer a boar over the river/lake?

A/N: I honestly have no idea if it was a river a lake or the ocean.

We quietly sat in the boat as I watched the waves. I was sitting next to Sasuke. Sakura sat next to Naruto and in the back were Kakashi, Tazuna and the guy who was steering the boat. Sakura shot death glares at me for siting next to Sasuke and I just played it off with a fake smile.

Sasuke, for some reason death glared at Sakura, which she fangirled over, thinking: OMG HE LOOKED AT ME!!!

"This is quite some fog. I can't see ahead." Sakura said. I scoffed. "I'm so proud of you, Pinkypie. You stated the obvious." She glared at me even harder. "Uhhhm, sorry to but in, but...what happened between you two?" Asked Naruto.

"Welp, blondie. That girl over there thinks I like her crush. She sees me as a threat, even though I don't like him that way. He's...I don't even know, if we are friends. We're just teammates actually." I spat. "She's stupid for thinking that, after years of no signs of liking him."

Sakura frowned and looked away. "The bridge should be visible soon." Said the guy we paid to steer the boat. "When we reach the side of the bridge, we'll be in the Land of the Waves."

I stared up at the bridge, that I could see now that we were close enough. "Woooow! It's huge!" Naruto said excited. Obviously, a little t loudly, because the helmsman said. "H-Hey. Please keep it down. I took this boat out under cover of fog. And I cut the engine and am rowing by hand. If they find us, we'll be in deep trouble."

Who was they? We're they an enemy? It definitely sounded like it. I wouldn't be surprised, if there were more people after the old man. Sasuke seemed to be thinking the same. He looked down at me and I looked up at him. Then I flinched again, because of the pain in my leg."

He looked at me with a concerned face. "Are you sure you're okay, it's the second time you flinched." I scoffed. I don't need him to take care of me. I can do that by myself. "I already told you, I'm fine. Why do you care anyways, it's not like we're friends." I snapped at him.

I wasn't quite sure why I had snapped at him, but he was the reason Sakura is throwing insults at my head after all. He is he reason why we're not friends anymore. It was true, that we weren't friends, and yet I still sat here, wishing we were, without even knowing why. I always feel so confused by him.

Honestly...I didn't even know why I was mad at him. The worst thing is that I kept thinking about that guy. THE guy with the most idiotic hair one earth. THE guy with this ego taller than him. THE guy I was rivals with for years.

My thoughts got interrupted by voices and I quickly looked up. "Mr. Tazuna I want to ask you something before we arrive at the pier. The identity of your assailants and the reason they are after you. If you don't tell us...our mission my end when you make landfall." As Kakashi Sensei had said that all of us turned to Tazuna.

"It appears I have no choice but to tell you. Frankly, I'd like you to listen. Just as you said, this may be beyond the scope of your mission. Actually, I am being targeted by a terrifying man." Tazuna said. "A terrifying man?" Kakashi asked. "Who?"

"You guys have probably heard his name before. A shipping magnate by the name of Gato." Kakashi Sensei seemed to have heard the name before, because he said this: "What? Gato...of the Gato Company? One of the world's richest men?"

Naruto was obviously intrigued by the topic. "Who? What?" He asked, wanting to hear more. "Yes..." Tazuna said still to Kakashi, before answering Naruto's questions.
