After what felt like hours of walking through the darkness, a faint light appeared on the horizon. It was small at first, barely noticeable, but as they drew closer, it grew brighter, filling them with hope.

“Do you think that’s it?” Louis asked, his voice filled with anticipation.

“Only one way to find out,” Harry replied, picking up his pace.

As they approached the light, they found themselves standing at the edge of a vast, glowing lake. The water shimmered with a soft golden hue, reflecting the stars above. In the center of the lake stood an island, bathed in light, and on the island, they could just make out the silhouette of a figure standing by the shore.

“It’s him,” Niall whispered, his heart racing. “It’s Liam.”

Without hesitation, they stepped into the water. Instead of sinking, they found themselves walking on the surface, as if the water itself was carrying them toward the island. Each step brought them closer to the figure, and as they reached the shore, they saw him clearly.

Liam stood before them, whole and smiling, as if he had never left.

“Liam,” Zayn said, tears streaming down his face. “Is it really you?”

Liam nodded, his eyes filled with warmth and understanding. “I’ve been waiting for you.”
