PUNISHMENT

The next morning everyone get up before their usual time as no one could sleep last night.

Rishita went to Riyan's room. She saw Riyan was sitting on his bed. A sadness covered his face.

Rishita went near him and asked
"Kal raat ko kaha the?"

Suddenly she saw Riyan's red cheek and asked in shocked

"Dada ne aapko thappad maara?"

Riyan nodded and said
"I deserved this."

Rishita : " kyaa huwa? Aap please details mein batao."

Riyan told everything about the incident.

Rishita widened her eyes and said

"Aapko toh aur maar parni chahiye. Koun karta hei aisa."

Riyan : " Haa!! Akal ghaas charne gaya tha mera."

He palmed his face. Rishita placed her hand on his shoulder and patted.

She asked in low voice "Dada naaraz hei?"

"Haa!! And I don't know woh humse baat karega bhi naahi!" Riyan said as he was worried so much about Rishabh.

He knew they disappointed him very much. Also he knew Rishabh would not spare them easily. But they can suffer the punishment not his resentment.

"Woh zaroor baat karenge. Aap ne hi toh kaha abhi Dada subha baat karenge aisa bolke chaale gaye." Rishita said. She doesn't look his brothers sad.

"Raat ko aisa bolke chale toh gaye par pata nahi. Aaj toh hummare taraf ek baar bhi dekha naahi." Riyan said with a pain in his voice.

"Dekhna breakfast table mein Dada baat kar hi lenge." Rishita said just to assure Riyan. But she was also worried if Rishabh would talk to them.

In the breakfast table everyone was quiet. They were eating food as if someone took them in gunpoint. Rimli disturbed by the atmosphere. So she whispered at Rishita's ear

"Aapko kyaa lagta hei didi Dada dono bhaiyas se baat karenge."

"Woh toh samay hi batayega." Rishita said.

"Koun samay? Yeh kaha se aa gaya beech mein?" Rimli asked as she doesn't no anyone who's name is samay.

Rishita glared at her and said in firm tone

"Samay matlaab time. Ghaari mein jo dekhti hei na woh samay."

"Rim tumhe pata hei Dada ne na kal bhaiya ko kadak thappad maara hei. Abhi tak gaal laal hei." Rishita said Rimli.

Rimli trying to look Riyan's cheek.

Then Rishabh said to Riyan and Rohan

"Khaane ke baad librery mein ana." Then he left.

Rishita said in relief " meine bola tha na Dada baat karenge."

"I hope woh hum se naaraz na rahe." Rohan said.

They both went to library. They entered the library after taking permission.

Rishabh was checking some files. Seeing them he stood up from chair.

"Ayeiye ayeiye. Veer purusho. Aap logon ke swagat kaise karu kuch soch hi naahi pa raha hu." He said insulting them.

Rohan said in embarrassment "Dada aap aise kyu bol rahe ho?"

"Toh kaise bolu beta aap hi bata do." He said in same tone.

He was still angry. But he was scared more than angry.
